Na Wei For Shanghai Tang

Hong Kong luxury fashion house Shanghai Tang recently unveiled a collaboration with artist Na Wei. The Canadian-born, Singapore-based Chinese artist is celebrated for her raw, hybrid ink brushwork. Drawing from her mixed heritage, Na Wei’s practice is deeply influenced by Feng Shui and a fusion of Eastern and Western philosophies. The collection, titled Drift & Reign, explores an equestrian theme through calligraphed depictions of riders and horses. Her fluid strokes appear across scarves and T-shirts in the capsule line, embodying rhythm, strength, and grace.
The standout piece of the collection is the limited-edition Tang Independence “Equestrian” Scarf. Crafted from pure silk, it showcases Na Wei’s signature brushstrokes and is limited to just 100 pieces. Other notable designs include the iconic Snakes & Ladders, which reinterprets Chinese philosophies of longevity, the duality of power, and fluidity. Overall, the collection pays homage to the strength, vitality, and spirit of equestrianism.

Tiffany Lovage For Braun Büffel

German leather house Braun Büffel recently unveiled Elanne, the brand’s first-ever silk scarf. The piece features a distinctive design by Singaporean artist and illustrator Tiffany Lovage, offered in four vibrant colourways. Known for experimenting with unconventional canvases such as leather, glass, and even skin, Lovage turned to the soft, luxurious medium of silk for this project. A fine art graduate from LASALLE College of the Arts, she values hands-on work for the personal and intimate touch it brings to her creations. At the heart of the design are orchids, inspired by Singapore’s national flower, rendered in watercolour, ink, and coloured pencil. This limited-edition release marks Braun Büffel’s first foray into silk accessories, resulting in a piece that is both versatile and deeply meaningful.
Toh Wei Soong For Pedro

In its recent collaboration with Singaporean paralympic swimmer Toh Wei Soong, Pedro transformed a series of its bags with hand-painted designs. The label, part of the Charles & Keith Group, is celebrated for its timeless, effortless bags and shoes. In this special release, Wei Soong’s brushstrokes flow across the bags, evoking movement and intention. A competitive swimmer since his teens, motion has always been central to his life, and his approach is expressive yet measured; considered, but never rehearsed. Through this collaboration, Pedro demonstrates how local brands can engage in broader conversations about athleticism and artistry.
