From spooky transformations to clever pop-culture references, our favourite celebrities were back at it again. Our feeds were flooded with some of the cutest, strangest, and scariest costumes. Lady Gaga was basically Mother Earth, Ed Sheeran turned into a full-blown clown, and Paris Hilton channeled her inner Britney Spears. The creativity was definitely off the charts. Lady Gaga
Mother Monster came in looking like Mother Earth this year. Dressed as the Garden of Eden—a playful nod to her song—Lady Gaga stunned in gorgeous gown embellished with 3D roses and leaves. The look was completed with a wing-like and a large metal shovel, because of course, only Gaga could make gardening couture.
Sabrina Carpenter
Leave it to Sabrina Carpenter to turn her Madison Square Garden concert on October 31 into a full-on costume party. Dressed as characters like Wonder Woman and Margot Robbie's Barbie, the popstar definitely gave a show that fans wouldn't forget.
Lisa
Blackpink's Lisa went full golden goddess this year. Inspired by the siren from Jibaro—the Emmy-winning episode from Love, Death + Robots—her all-gold ensemble was dripping in jewels, chains and fringe. Paired with dramatic makeup and a matching headpiece, Lisa was a walking work of art.

Lizzo
Lizzo took “cheesy” to a whole new level—literally. Dressed as a piece of mozzarella, she wore a buttery yellow gown that flowed like melted cheese. Completing the outfit was the giant breaded prop on her back, and a similar mini version in her hands. One thing's for sure: Her outfit ate.
Ed Sheeran
At first glance, you might not be able to tell who this creepy clown is. Ed Sheeran definitely scared a few peeps with this Pennywise costume. The singer committed fully to the look, even posting videos of himself doing everyday things like sipping coffee or eating pizza while in full clown makeup. A little creepy, a little hilarious, and very Ed—a clown, indeed!
Paris Hilton
Oops, Paris Hilton did it again! Starting off her series of Halloween costumes was a Britney Spears look from the iconic music video for "Oops, I did it again". She went all out sporting a bright red latex catsuit and posing on a a Mars landscape—a recreation of the original music video set.
Demi Lovato
If you missed Demi Lovato's red hair phase, we were lucky enough to get a glimpse of it again this year with her Poison Ivy costume. She wore bright red hair together with a leaf-embellished bodysuit over fishnet tights—sweet, sultry and just the right amount of sexy.

Camila Mendes & Madelaine Petsch
The former Riverdale co-stars, Camila Mendes and Madelaine Petsch reunited in style as Alice in Wonderland characters. Both looked adorably whimsical with Camila dressed as the Queen of Hearts and Madelaine as the Mad Hatter.

Sofia Carson celebrated Halloween with her sister Paulina Char, with the duo dressed as Dorothy and The Tin Man from The Wizard of Oz. Their puppy also joined the party with a Cowardly Lion costume, looking as adorable as ever. Talk about family goals!
