For Halloween this year, Blackpink’s Lisa transformed into the gilded siren from “Jibaro,” an Emmy-winning episode of Netflix’s Love, Death + Robots. The K-pop superstar stunned in a detailed costume that captured the haunting beauty of the show’s “Golden Woman,” a supernatural figure who lures men to their deaths.

On Instagram, Lisa shared photos of herself draped head to toe in shimmering gold, wearing an ornate jumpsuit adorned with full-body chains, beads, and layered metallic fringe. She paired the look with an elaborate headpiece and dramatic makeup featuring rosy and periwinkle hues and a bejeweled red lip. “Jibaro 👑👻,” she captioned the gallery.

The original “Jibaro” episode, directed by Alberto Mielgo, is a wordless, plaintive story that explores greed and exploitation. It follows the titular character, a deaf knight, who’s immune to the siren’s deadly song and ultimately betrays and plunders her. On TikTok, Lisa posted a video of herself emulating the siren’s emotive movements against an eerie audio clip from the episode:

Lisa’s costume reveal marks yet another moment in a recent string of headline-making moves. In February, the Thai singer released her highly anticipated solo album Alter Ego, an ambitious record that showcases her versatility beyond Blackpink, and this month, she signed a global touring deal with Wasserman Music. She also made her acting debut in the third season of The White Lotus, which aired from February to April.

In her ELLE US cover story last year, Lisa reflected on her journey since her K-pop training days with the South Korean management agency YG Entertainment. Thinking about what she’d tell her younger self, she responded with a laugh, “I’d say, ‘Let her suffer.’” She added, “I wouldn’t spoil any of this. I’d say, ‘Don’t think too much about the future. Just focus on what you’re doing right now. But don’t quit. Just don’t quit.’”
