K-pop veterans EXID may be in their 13th year, but their flame is burning brighter than ever. Formed by Solji, Elly, Hani, Hyerin and Jeonghwa, the girl group's success story is truly one for the books. Early in their career, the quintet overturned the threat of an early disbandment with a viral chart resurgence of their single “Up & Down”, setting them on the path to hits like “Hot Pink”, “DDD” and “I Love You”. In the years since, the members of EXID have set off to pursue their passions in acting, producing and even academia. But when they get together for performances, recordings or even just a regular hangout, EXID’s bond remains unbreakable.

While they were in town for Waterbomb Singapore, the girl group sat down with ELLE Singapore for an exclusive interview. Here, they reflect on how much they have changed over the years, when they plan to release new music and what EXID means to them today.
