Barcelona-born eyewear label MELLER celebrates its first-ever retail launch in Asia and its partnership with Lenskart through an exclusive pop-up event in Singapore, featuring a very special appearance from Thai actor and model Sky Wongravee Nateetorn. The rising star was in town to celebrate the launch of the brand with a one-day fan meet last Saturday at the Lenskart x MELLER pop-up in Hougang Mall.
Known for gracing the screen with his impactful performances in series like My Ambulance, and playing the leading role in Netflix’s OMG! Oh My Girl, the actor has recently starred in the ongoing action fantasy series, Wu. Nani Hirunkit joins Sky as his on-screen partner-in-crime. Wu marks the duo’s second project together, further extending SkyNani's (Sky Wongravee and Nani Hirunkit) combined filmography.
Directed by Waasuthep Ketpetch, Wu first premiered on 5 May 2026. The popular Thai series continues to air weekly on GMM25 and is streaming on iQIYI and Viu. Sky plays the role of Niran, a man gifted with the ability to alter fate. Together with Pete (played by Hirunkit), who can sense the presence of a dark energy that consumes the mind of its victims, the two navigate a world of shamans and fight against the infernal beings lurking within it.
Following the release of the MELLER by Lenskart collection, we caught up with the Thai heartthrob to talk dream sunglasses, his ongoing drama series Wu, and the exciting projects lined up for the rest of the year.

How would you describe your everyday style?
“Minimal but cool”
What’s one accessory you think every outfit should have?
“Sunglasses, of course!”

Describe your dream pair of glasses/sunglasses.
“I love glasses with frames that have a natural look – what is this pattern called? Tortoise! Yes, tortoiseshell frames. I like this ‘natural material’ look.”
Tell us about your favourite piece from the MELLER x Lenskart collection, and how would you style it?
“There are so many things I like from this collection! The first thing that caught my eye was the colour of the eyewear case; orange and black. They’re my lucky colours!”
How do you like to get “unready” after a long day?
“After a long day, I’ll remove my makeup, check my social media – X and Instagram – then, I’ll put on a face mask, and sleep!”
Tell us about your ongoing series, Wu. What’s your favourite thing about your character, Niran?
“This series really challenged me as an actor. I play the character Niran, a fortune-teller [or shaman] who calls himself Wu. In this series, we refer to Wu as a group of people that are able to connect with heaven, earth, as well as the five elements—wood, fire, water, metal and earth—and can use their unique abilities for special purposes.”

What did you enjoy the most while working on this project?
“Perhaps that would be the workshops I had to undergo before shooting, where I had to learn ancient and spiritual beliefs. I am a very logical person, so it was quite hard to grasp those concepts in order to jump into my character. But I’ve been finding my way through it!”

Is there anything you can tease about the next episode?
“Wu has 3 episodes aired so far. The next one is going to get more intense. So stay tuned!”
What other projects are you working on this year?
“This September, I have a fancon coming up. Look forward to SkyNani and DewTee (Dew Jirawat and Tee Teeradech).”
