Got7’s BamBam recently touched down in Singapore for the Lancôme Génifique Ultimate Spaceship event, and if there’s one thing we learned, it’s that this man takes his skincare—and cleanliness—seriously. Between grooming secrets, fashion essentials, and his hidden talent (hint: it's cleaner than you think), BamBam gave us a glimpse into his world. Here’s what went down in our candid chat.
What is one product everyone own from Lancôme because and why?
Everyone should own Génifique from Lancôme because it works—for me, at least. It relaxes and cools my skin down—not too moist or dry. It’s perfect.

What are your fashion essentials?
A good pair of pants. I’m really into cowboy-inspired bootcut pants these days because they flatter my legs. I’ve only found two perfect pairs so far, but I’m always on the lookout for more, no matter where I am in the world. The second one might sound a bit odd, but I’m really particular about the colour of my underwear. It has to match both my outfit and the occasion. And third, the perfect timepiece. Whether it’s a daily watch or something more formal, if you want to stand out, you need some bling. I’m definitely a watch guy!

Whare are your beauty dos and don’ts?
For my personal dos: Stay clean at all times. That’s the secret to beauty. Keep your home clean, keep your pillows clean—because you rest your face on them every day, you know?
And don’ts? Don’t skip bath time. You should shower at least twice a day—before you go out and when you come back home. Some people only shower before bed, and the next morning, they’re like, “Oh, I already showered last night.” Who does that?

What skincare goal has Lancôme Génifique helped you achieve?
I use Génifique because it soothes my skin. I have sensitive skin, and it’s not very resilient, but since using it, my skin has become more balanced. I can feel it improving every day.
Do you have a secret talent?
It might not sound like much of a hidden talent, but my cleaning skills are better than 99-percent of the people I know. I shower at least twice a day—sometimes four or even five times, depending on what I’m doing and the weather.
What motivates you?
All the people who are excited to see me and enjoy my music. I want to keep giving them a good time—whether it’s through my shows, my music, my personality, or whatever they connect with. That’s one of the main reasons I keep pushing myself.
What are you currently working on, and what can we expect from you in the future?
I’m working on my showcase tour for my latest album, and that’s going to keep me busy until the end of the year. I’m also getting ready for Rolling Loud Thailand's hip-hop festival this November in Pattaya City. It will be my first time performing on a stage outside of K-pop. Next year, I’m thinking of taking some time off for myself. I’m not sure what I’ll do yet, but I’ll just go with the flow.
