As Milan takes centre stage as a global hub for design, fashion houses are using the moment to debut collaborations, introduce new creations and present striking installations. From Hermès’ immersive home universe to Louis Vuitton’s archival showcase and Fendi’s reimagined Baguette, Milan Design Week 2026 has become a platform for collectible design, craftsmanship-driven storytelling and experiential presentations.
HERMÈS
At Salone del Mobile during Milan Design Week 2026, Hermès unveils its latest home collection through an immersive installation conceived by architect and artistic director Charlotte Macaux Perelman alongside Alexis Fabry. Set within a maze of 30 wood-clad columns, the presentation reveals new furniture, textiles and decorative objects through shifting perspectives while transforming the exhibition into a tactile journey through material, craftsmanship and colour.
LOUIS VUITTON
At Milan Design Week 2026, Louis Vuitton takes over Palazzo Serbelloni with an immersive showcase of its Louis Vuitton Objets Nomades alongside archival trunks and design icons. Spanning richly staged rooms, the presentation moves from Art Deco references and Pierre Legrain tributes to contemporary collaborations with designers such as Estudio Campana, Raw Edges, Patrick Jouin and Cristian Mohaded while blending heritage craftsmanship with experimental design languages across furniture, textiles and objects.

MCM
For its 50th anniversary, MCM teams up once again with Atelier Biagetti for Disco on Mars, an immersive, three-level experience staged at the Rotonda del Pellegrini. Framed as a futuristic journey from Munich to Mars, the exhibition blends design, sound and performance—from a zero-gravity “lab” of reimagined objects, to a robot-led disco rink, and an operatic dome performance—transforming the space into a multi-sensory exploration of past, present and imagined futures.
LORO PIANA
This year, Loro Piana dedicated its installation On the Plaid to the plaid as a foundational element of its interior vocabulary, tracing its evolution from early 1980s experiments in material and weave to contemporary expressions of craftsmanship.
Structured as a curated sequence of 24 one-of-a-kind pieces, the presentation reads like an index of techniques and savoir-faire, one where fibres, yarns and signature materials are transformed through embroidery, weaving, patchwork and printing. Conceived as couture-like objects made to order, each plaid reflects the House’s ongoing exploration of craft, material intelligence and textile innovation.
TOD'S
Tod’s celebrates Italian design heritage with a special project honouring 20th-century masters through reimagined versions of its iconic Gommino. Drawing inspiration from works by Joe Colombo, Gaetano Pesce, Michele De Lucchi for Memphis Milano, and Achille & Pier Giacomo Castiglioni, each design is translated into a collectible reinterpretation that bridges radical design language with artisanal craft. Presented at Via Savona 56, the installation also highlights live demonstrations of Tod’s signature hand-stitching, underscoring the craftsmanship behind the Gommino and its contemporary evolution.
The limited-edition Gommino loafers will also be available to purchase during the presentation, with select styles offered at the Tod’s boutique in Milan’s Via Monte Napoleone and via the brand’s official online store, while the exhibition remains open to the public by registration.
FENDI
Launched at Milan Design Week 2026, the Fendi Baguette returns as the Baguette® 26424 Re-Edition, reimagined through archival references and a softer construction that enhances its under-the-arm wearability. Presented at Palazzo FENDI Milano, the collection spans 20 designs—including six Milan exclusives—each finished with special Re-Edition metal tags and housed in wooden, crate-inspired packaging designed like art objects.
Extending across cities with dedicated pop-ins in New York and Shanghai, the release reframes the Baguette as a vessel of identity and self-expression—celebrating individuality through multiplicity, reinvention and the idea that personality itself is the ultimate form of beauty.
RALPH LAUREN
At Milan Design Week 2026, Ralph Lauren presents an immersive home experience that brings its cinematic vision of living to life through two worlds—Saddlebrook and Sterling Square—staged inside a historic Milanese palazzo.
The showcase spans from the warm, heritage-rich interiors of Saddlebrook to the refined Art Deco-inspired elegance of Sterling Square, each defined by layered textures, artisanal craftsmanship and archival references that reflect Ralph Lauren’s signature approach to lifestyle design.
Extending beyond the presentation, Ralph Lauren also announces the upcoming opening of its first standalone Home store in Milan on Via della Spiga in fall 2026, marking a major milestone in the global expansion of its Home universe and deepening its presence in the city’s Quadrilatero della Moda.
LONGCHAMP
Longchamp presents a design collaboration with Patrick Jouin, unveiled as a pop-up installation at the brand’s Via della Spiga flagship in Milan. Building on Longchamp’s ongoing engagement with contemporary design, the project reinterprets select pieces from Jouin’s Patrick Jouin Édition through the house’s leather craftsmanship and signature colour codes.
The presentation includes the DROP side and coffee tables, reworked in spun steel with enamel surfaces in Longchamp’s Light Green and Heritage Green, as well as the OLO armchair detailed with dyed leather edges. A new OSTARA lamp is also introduced—crafted in full-grain leather with an oak base, rechargeable LED lighting and modular design—produced in a limited numbered edition.
Following its Milan debut, the furniture and lighting pieces will be made available through select Longchamp boutiques, extending the collaboration beyond Design Week into the brand’s retail network.
MIU MIU
Miu Miu Literary Club 2026 returns to the Circolo Filologico Milanese under the direction of Miuccia Prada, continuing its dialogue between fashion and contemporary culture through conversations on desire, consent and self-determination. Inspired by the works of Annie Ernaux and Ama Ata Aidoo, the three-day programme features panel discussions, lectures, live performances and readings exploring identity, sexuality and modern relationships. New for 2026 are lectures on AI, desire and consent, alongside a curated library by Rosi Braidotti and a public reading room designed to foster cultural exchange. Throughout the event, complimentary copies of A Girl’s Story and Changes: A Love Story are available to visitors, reinforcing the Literary Club’s commitment to making literature accessible and central to the experience.
MONCLER
Moncler brings its Puffy Summer concept into the city through an immersive pop-up at 10 Corso Como. Anchored by a giant inflatable octopus wrapping around the facade and spilling into the interiors, the installation translates Moncler’s signature puffer jackets into a playful, larger-than-life design statement.
Inside, 24 looks from the spring/summer 2026 collection showcase the brand’s lighter approach to layering by reworking its outerwear DNA through airy fabrics, sculptural silhouettes and vibrant colour palettes designed for warmer months. Open throughout Design Week, the activation extends Moncler’s seasonal campaign into an experiential space where fashion, installation and storytelling converge.
MARNI
Marni joins forces with Pasticceria Cucchi to reimagine Milanese café culture as an immersive design experience where everyday rituals become a language of colour, material and form. Conceived with creative studio RedDuo Studio, the space blends heritage and contemporary visual codes, translating the city’s aperitivo tradition into a playful, layered environment shaped by pattern, texture and atmosphere.
Extending beyond Milan Design Week, the project also includes a curated food-and-design experience and collectible tableware pieces available for purchase at Cucchi and Marni’s Via Montenapoleone boutique, underscoring the collaboration’s aim to live on as a lasting Milanese touchpoint.
