Creativity has never existed in a single lane for this content creator. Rebecca Ten’s decade-long journey has taken her from copywriting to travel filmmaking, entrepreneurship and full-time content creation.
After winning advertising awards as a polytechnic student, it seemed a natural step to join an agency after graduation. But she grew disillusioned with the 9-to-5 grind, and decided to leave and document her travels on social media. That led to collaborations with airlines, hotel groups and tourism boards. When the pandemic brought travel to a standstill, Rebecca went back to working behind the scenes in leadership roles at creative agencies, which helped to sharpen her skills in storytelling, art direction and brand strategy.
As she prepares for a new personal chapter—her wedding this October—Rebecca looks forward to entering her most expansive creative era yet.

ON CONTENT CREATION

“Creating content means constantly learning—no two projects are ever the same. I’m still just as excited working on a campaign now as I was 10 years ago. I’m creating for my audience, but also for myself. My decisions are guided by what feels right aesthetically and emotionally, and by the kind of stories I’m proud to put out. Moving forward, I want to take bigger creative risks, work on a grander scale, and build worlds that feel more immersive and emotionally driven.”

ON FASHION

“I’m drawn to contrast—mixing femininity with masculinity and a little chaos. Right now, my style feels poetic and slightly undone. I’m inspired by opposing energies, nostalgia and designers who push beyond quiet luxury. Jonathan Anderson at Dior excites me because he’s keeping the softness of the house while making it more experimental.”

ON TRAVEL
“My favourite destination isn’t a place but a route: Tokyo to Switzerland, with a stop in Paris. Tokyo feels chaotic and alive in the best way, Switzerland represents slow living at its purest, and Paris—clichéd as it is—holds some of my favourite adventures. Each place feeds a different part of my soul.”
