For Annika Sager, the decision to enter Miss Universe Singapore for the second time paid off beautifully. Today at 25—six years and a degree later—she walks away with the crown, crediting her success to a convergence of modelling, content creation, and academia. A once-shy 15-year-old, Annika found her voice after her mother encouraged her to join a modelling competition. Over time, her interests—fashion, storytelling, and sustainability—fused into a singular purpose, leading her to study Hospitality Business and Luxury & Fashion Marketing. A viral video about a top she’s kept since age three reinforced the power of authenticity. Now, as Miss Universe Singapore, her goal is bigger: To use her platform to champion sustainable fashion, inclusivity and empowerment.

“Winning Miss Universe Singapore is a milestone I’m proud of, alongside my academic achievements and brand partnerships rooted in sustainability. ON FASHION

“My style has evolved through the places I’ve lived: Tokyo gave me a love for texture and tradition; the Netherlands taught me clean lines; Singapore taught me practicality. I avoid fast fashion, and choose pieces that last, and can be worn multiple ways. My mother is my biggest style influence. Her timeless thrifted pieces are now staples in my wardrobe. Locally, I love Triologie for its bold, modern Singaporean identity. Fashion should always look good and do good.”
