GMMTV 2026 Line-up: Fresh Faces, Trailers & Unexpected Announcements

The annual event introduced a staggering total of 38 new projects including a musical and an idol survival show for 2026.

Much like Netflix’s Tudum showcase, GMMTV—one of Thailand’s leading entertainment powerhouses—hosts its own annual line-up event unveiling the year’s upcoming dramas, concerts, and variety shows. Fans from around the world tuned in to the livestream, eager to see what’s in store and whether their favourite actors would headline new projects. This year, the studio announced an impressive 38 titles, spanning fresh girl’s love (GL) and boy’s love (BL) pairings, bold genre shifts, and even a musical remake. Here are some of the standout projects to look forward to.

Ditto


GMMTV is shining the spotlight on its GL series this year, and this romantic drama was the captivating opener for the line-up. Starring Love Pattranite and Milk Pansa, Ditto follows the love story between a flight attendant and a ballerina.

Wish Upon A Star

When GMMTV announced that the theme for this year’s line-up event was “Magic Vibes Maximised”, they were not lying. There were a few series which involved do-overs, second chances, and time travelling with this project being one of them.

GMMTV introduces a whole cast of fresh faces in this coming of age series that follows a group of girls as they navigate love, friendships, and a whole lot of teen angst. 

Arrest And Action


GMMTV is famously known for its GLs and BLs but there’s a third secret thing: Sky Wongravee and Nani Hirunkit. This bromance duo became the subject of adoration by many after working together in High School Frenemy. Now, they are back with a new comedy series ready to bring laughter to the audiences.

Surf ‘N’ Love

If you’re a fan of summer-themed shows like The Summer I Turned Pretty, this upcoming series has all the makings of one—the beach setting, surfing, and a generous display of shirtless men. That, and of course, a love triangle because who doesn’t love one?

Scarlet Heart Thailand

Fans were treated to a first look at the highly-anticipated remake of the Chinese romance novel Bu Bu Jing Xin. The reveal offered a tantalising glimpse of the historical–fantasy drama’s direction and, most importantly, confirmed the casting by revealing which actors will take on the roles of the various princes.

17th Spring

Previously known for their second-lead roles, Chokun Puttipong and Aston Ratiphat have officially stepped into the spotlight as main leads in their own series. The trailer hints at a bittersweet coming-of-age story, notably centring on a character living with HIV—marking a meaningful step forward for representation on screen.

Love Of Siam: The Musical

While the rest of the projects were unveiled through trailers, the musical remake of the iconic 2007 BL film—originally starring Mario Maurer and Pchy Witwisit—was announced with a live stage performance. The performance featured Gemini Norawit and Fourth Nattawat as the leads, which had fans roaring with excitement.

You Maniac

Actors William Jakrapat and Est Supha rose to fame this year with their series, Thamepo: Heart That Skips A Beat. The series captivated audiences with its candid take on idol relationships and the natural chemistry between the two male leads. The success of the series fuelled fan expectations for their next project and it seems they were not disappointed with this one. 

High & Low: Born To Be High

The night ended with the announcement of GMMTV’s biggest series yet: A remake of the popular Japanese action media franchise, High & Low. This upcoming project boasts a star-studded cast of 13 actors which include Sky Wongravee, Nani Hirunkit, Ohm Thitiwat, Nanon Korapat, Pond Naravit, and Barcode Tinnasit. While production has not started, fans are already curious to know how the team will work to coordinate the schedules of the entire cast.
