Apple's award-winning fitness and wellness service Apple Fitness+ is finally arriving in Singapore, five years after its launch. Landing on our shores on December 15, the service offers an extensive library of workout and wellness episodes, personalised workout scheduling as well as music and audio experiences, all of which are seamlessly integrated across Apple devices to promote healthier, more active living.

The Apple Fitness+ library includes a total of 12 workout types—including Strength, Yoga, HIIT, Pilates, Dance, Cycling, Kickboxing, and Meditation—that can be viewed on the iPhone, iPad and Apple TV, with episodes ranging from five to 45 minutes to suit each user's pace and lifestyle. It is also deeply integrated with Apple Music, allowing users to enjoy upbeat genres like Hip-hop, Latin Grooves and K-pop alongside their workouts.

Users who exercise with their Apple Watch or AirPods Pro 3 can enjoy additional optimisation to their experience by viewing personal metrics on-screen, including heart rate, calories burnt as well as the Burn Bar, which lets users compare their metrics to others who have done the same workout. The service's Custom Plans automatically generates a personalised schedule for each user, taking into account their favourite activities, music and trainers, workout durations and other preferences.

Apple Fitness+ also boasts a wealth of additional features for those who need a little extra motivation in their fitness journey. Train to the music of your favourite artist with the Artist Spotlight Series, which dedicates entire workout playlists to a single artist's music. The series currently includes some of the world's biggest artists, from Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez, to Coldplay and BTS.

There is also Time To Walk, an audio experience that allows users to walk alongside influential figures as they share stories, photos and songs, including Wicked star Cynthia Erivo, musicians Daddy Yankee and Camilla Cabello and most recently, Formula 1 driver Yuki Tsunoda.

Not sure where to begin? With Collections, users can view a curated series of workouts from the extensive Apple Fitness+ library based on their fitness goals and interests. Finally, the service also offers 12 meditation themes to recharge and practice mindfulness after a workout or busy day, tailored for sleep, relaxation and more.

Apple Fitness+ will be available in Singapore as a subscription service for $9.98 per month or $79.00 per year from December 15, and can be shared with up to five other family members. Three months of Apple Fitness+ will also be included free for customers with the purchase of any new Apple Watch, iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV capable of running the latest operating system software.

Users should also note that the service requires iPhone 8 or later with iOS 16.1 or later; or Apple Watch Series 3 or later with watchOS 7.2 or later, paired with iPhone 6s or later with iOS 14.3 or later.
