Had the pandemic not swept across the globe in 2020, Pond Naravit Lertratkosum’s life might have taken a different course. At that time, the young Thai star had passed an audition at a South Korean entertainment company to become an idol trainee. With his boyish looks, tall frame, deep voice, and a passion for dancing, Pond appeared to have all the qualities needed to become an idol. But just as he was ready to pursue his dream, the pandemic forced everything to a standstill.
The opportunity fell through but that setback didn't stop him. In the same year, he won Thailand’s Go On Girl & Guy Star Search by Clean & Clear, a talent contest pivotal to the launch of his acting career. Pond made his on-screen debut with a minor role in The Gifted Graduation (2020) but it wasn’t long before he stepped into the spotlight as the lead in the Thai boy’s love series, Fish Upon The Sky in 2021. From there, he quickly gained recognition, being cast in several other notable dramas such as Never Let Me Go (2022) and Leap Day (2025). His performances earned critical praise and his fanbase steadily grew. More recently, his popularity was solidified when he won the Weibo Most Popular Young Star Award—a testament to his rising influence and growth in the industry.

Despite steadily carving a name for himself in the acting world, Pond refused to let go of his dream to perform on stage. Whether through fan concerts, events, or filming dance challenges for TikTok, he kept his passion for music and performance alive. He became one step closer to his dream last year, when he featured in boy group, LYKN’s single, “Charm.” The response was overwhelmingly positive, proving his ability to captivate audiences with his performance.

Earlier this year, music label Riser Music, announced the formation of the idol project group, JASP.ER, with Pond joining fellow actors as one of its core members. Since then, the group has released two songs, “Sadistic” and “Take It Off”, with Pond taking on the role as rapper. The group’s impact has been undeniable—quickly transitioning from a project group to a permanent one. JASP.ER went on to win the Rookie Artist Award at the Kazz Awards 2025, marking a significant milestone in their growing presence in the music scene.
Pond’s magnetic charm has not only turned heads in the entertainment industry but also in the sartorial world. His youthful energy and charisma became key factors for his appointment as brand ambassador for Tommy Hilfiger, alongside actors Phuwin Tangsakyuen, Gemini Norawit, and Fourth Nattawat. He was also seen at the launch of the label’s summer 2025 collection at “The Hilfiger Resort” in Koh Samui, Thailand. Adding to his roster of ambassadorships, Pond became Versace Fragrance’s Southeast Asia ambassador in January this year–continuing to build his profile as a fashion and beauty icon.
Between acting and singing, the 24-year-old is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Engineering Management. Besides attending classes, the actor is also in the midst of filming for his upcoming rom-com series, Me and Thee. He is set to play the leading role of Thee, an out-of-touch wealthy businessman who is fixated on Thai soap operas. As his popularity skyrockets, all eyes are on Pond to witness what's next in his ever-evolving career.
