ELLE Singapore marked over three decades as a trailblazing force in fashion and lifestyle with a spectacular anniversary party at Ida’s Bar. The night brought together Singapore’s brightest stars, style icons, and creative talents for a celebration brimming with glamour, music, and, of course, fashion, in a reflection on the brand’s enduring legacy.
“It has been a whirlwind of a year, and we couldn’t have accomplished all that we did if not for the invaluable support we received from our advertisers, collaborators and friends,” said editor-in-chief Charmaine Ho. “ELLE Singapore has always been about inspiring our readers to embrace who they are, and tonight, we celebrate the people who make that vision possible.”
Olivier Burlot, CEO of Heart Media Group, echoed the sentiment, adding, “ELLE Singapore’s success is a testament to the passion and talent of everyone who has been part of its journey. This event is a toast to our achievements and the community that continues to support us.”
The star-studded guest list included Singaporean luminaries such as ELLE Singapore's March 2024 cover star Chen Yixin, May 2024 digital cover star Carrie Wong, Desmond Tan, Tay Ying and Tan Kheng Hua, alongside influencers like Saffron Sharpe, Sabrina Marican, Atiqa Dar and Savina Chow. Local musicians Shye, Jean Seizure and Suthasini Rajendran added to the evening’s cultural vibrancy, while Benjamin Kheng, ELLE Singapore’s August 2024 digital cover star, stole the show with the debut live performance of his new track "REALLY IN LOVE" ahead of his album launch on 29 November.
Notable attendees also included Aimee Cheng-Bradshaw and Mae Tan, both of whom were recognised earlier this year at the ELLE Style Awards Asia 2024. Aimee, celebrated as “The Change Maker”, and Mae, awarded “The Trend Setter”, brought their signature charisma and flair to the event, underscoring their influence on Singapore’s fashion scene.
Guided by the creative vision of editor-in-chief Charmaine Ho, the ELLE Singapore and Heart Media teams curated an evening that perfectly encapsulated the brand’s ethos. Charmaine was supported by deputy editor Jasmine Alimin, fashion director Jeffrey Yan, digital editor Navin Pillay, senior fashion writer Valecia Lee, senior beauty/lifestyle writer Megan La Faber, and associate art director Gagandeep Singh. This was in addition to Heart Media's sales and marketing team, who worked tirelessly to pull off a flawless night.
The evening’s success was elevated by its incredible partners, whose contributions added an extra layer of luxury and indulgence. CakeInspiration dazzled with a showstopping cake, while Ida’s Event Space provided the perfect backdrop for the celebration. Guests enjoyed exquisite cuisine by LAVISH Dine Catering, paired with fine rosé selections from Still and Bubbly. Roku Gin delighted with meticulously crafted cocktails, Kate Spade Fragrance infused the venue with elegance, and TWG Tea offered indulgent tea selections. Sturion Caviar delighted palates with their signature caviar offerings, the Scoopy’s Gelateria ice cream cart added a sweet note with artisanal gelato, and Coehl’s chic phone straps served as stylish keepsakes.
As the night drew to a close, it was clear that ELLE Singapore’s commitment to celebrating individuality, inspiring creativity, and shaping the cultural landscape remains as strong as ever. The event was a reflection of the brand’s illustrious history and a bold step into the future of fashion and lifestyle storytelling.
