For the past few years, Blue Ivy Carter has been a regular at the Super Bowl with her family. Tonight, the 13-year-old rising star is back with her 7-year-old sister, Rumi. Blue and Rumi were photographed on the field ahead of the game with their dad, Jay-Z. Both wore jeans, with Blue pairing a Balenciaga jacket and sunglasses with her look. Rumi added a black sweater and white top to hers. Their father is involved with the Super Bowl halftime show, as his company, Roc Nation, co-produces the performance.

Blue is fresh off of her appearance at the Grammys last week, where she accompanied her mom, Beyoncé, onstage when Bey won Album of the Year for the first time. After her win, Beyoncé spoke to Entertainment Tonight about sharing that moment with her oldest daughter.
“It’s very surreal [winning Album of the Year], and it’s been 25 years of just working really hard and trying my best to keep growing, keep opening up doors,” Beyoncé said. “So I’m just very honored, very honoured. And I’m happy that my daughter got to see that.” She then joked about how much Blue has grown, saying, she is “taller than me. I don’t like it at all. But I’m so happy that she was here.”

Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s children are rarely seen out in public. In September, Beyoncé told GQ that she has made it a point to protect their privacy.
“One thing I’ve worked extremely hard on is making sure my kids can have as much normalcy and privacy as possible, ensuring my personal life isn’t turned into a brand,” she said. “It’s very easy for celebrities to turn our lives into performance art. I have made an extreme effort to stay true to my boundaries and protect myself and my family. No amount of money is worth my peace.”
