The girls of MEOVV are back, and they are bringing the heat. Just months after releasing their first EP My Eyes Open VVide, the five-member K-pop girl group—comprising SOOIN, GAWON, ANNA, NARIN and ELLA—have dropped their sizzling new digital single titled “BURNING UP”. The energetic Jersey club-led number and its fierce visuals are a departure from MEOVV’s usual high teen style, heralding a bolder, more mature new chapter for the act as they enter their sophomore year.

The new single comes shortly after MEOVV’s debut anniversary, marking a year since they burst onto the scene with their edgy debut track “Meow”, paving the way as The Black Label's first girl group and grabbing attention for their unique feline-inspired concept. Just months after their debut, the group won the award for Favourite Rising Artist at the 2024 MAMA Awards, cementing their status as one of the most exciting fifth-generation K-pop acts to watch. With each release, the most recent being their singles "HANDS UP" and "DROP TOP" from their first EP this May, MEOVV continue to reach new heights on music charts, signalling their upward trajectory.

Beyond music, MEOVV are also making waves in the fashion and beauty realms—as expected, considering several members' past modelling careers and sought-after personal style. Earlier this year, the group became brand ambassadors for L'Oréal Paris, while GAWON and ELLA were named global ambassadors for Prada and Miu Miu respectively. Even amid preparations for their comeback, ANNA, NARIN and ELLA were spotted at Paris Fashion Week, gracing the front rows at the Chloé, Celine and Miu Miu spring/summer 2026 shows.
