It may have been an ordinary Monday morning for the rest of the world, but online, awards season officially kicked off with the 83rd Golden Globe Awards in Beverly Hills, California. As the glitterati gathered to celebrate the year’s biggest achievements across film and television, fan favourites emerged victorious—KPop Demon Hunters clinched Best Motion Picture – Animated and Best Original Song, Hamnet took home Best Motion Picture – Drama, while One Battle After Another dominated the Musical or Comedy category. On the television front, The Pitt, The Studio, and Adolescence emerged as standout winners of the night.

The acting categories proved just as buzzy. Jessie Buckley was recognised for her turn in Hamnet, while Timothée Chalamet was honoured for Marty Supreme. Teyana Taylor won for One Battle After Another, alongside Adolescence’s winning trio—Stephen Graham, Owen Cooper, and Erin Doherty. Elsewhere, Sinners scored wins for Best Original Score and Cinematic and Box Office Achievement. But while the trophies mattered, our eyes were firmly fixed on the action from the shoulders up—beauty looks that left us well and truly gagged (in the best way possible). Ahead, we round up our favourite beauty moments from the Golden Globes.
