Directed by Anton Tammi, Open Hearts captures the atmosphere of Los Angeles's iconic downtown skyline, creating a haunting backdrop for The Weeknd’s sonic journey. Known for his visually intense music videos, Tammi previously directed Hurry Up Tomorrow’s music video, “Dancing In the Flames,” which was shot entirely on iPhone 16 Pro Max and edited on Mac, underscoring Apple’s commitment to merging creative and technical innovation.
The Weeknd: Open Hearts is the latest addition to Apple’s growing Immersive Video library, offered at no cost for Apple Vision Pro users. This dynamic collection is set to expand with Concert for One, an intimate performance series debuting globally on 22 November. The launch will feature British artist RAYE and her 20-piece band, recorded at London’s Air Studios and available as a new EP in Spatial Audio on Apple Music.
