Hermès has never been short of lust-worthy creations. From its iconic Birkin and ultra-chic beauty line to its longstanding Apple Watch collaboration, the storied French Maison has always been at the top of fashion wishlists. Yet equally covetable, though not always spotlighted, are the Hermès carrés: The square-shaped silk scarves that have served as canvases for epic works of art since 1937. You may have seen them wrapped around the handles of a Kelly, styled as a twilly, or draped effortlessly on your favourite celebrities (our beloved #BirkinMom, Kelly Rutherford, included).

Now, for the first time in Singapore, you’re invited to step closer and experience their allure with The Silky Way: An immersive escapade into the universe of Hermès silk.

Held at Marina Bay Sands’ Event Plaza, the sensorial journey begins under a canopy of stars. As you lie beneath the night sky, the carrés’ magical stories unfold as constellations, plunging you into colourful, silken worlds. These objets de style invite you to come closer—to look, to listen, to imagine infinite possibilities.

The journey also shines a spotlight on the creative forces behind Hermès silk. The women’s silk collections, directed by Cécile Pesce, and the men’s silk collections, directed by Christophe Goineau, are celebrated for their richness of design, kaleidoscopic colours, and infinite variations in shade.

Each carré tells a tale, embodying creativity and exceptional savoir-faire. From Bottes Story to Pony Pit Stop, Carré Libre, Le Philatéliste du Faubourg or Please Hold the Line, even their names inspire wonder. Every design is both a story and a playground for the imagination. In other words: An invitation to dream in silk.
