All around the world, Cruise shows have earned the reputation of being exotically stylish—often held at exceptional locations and luxurious vacation spots. Since Louis Vuitton's inaugural Voyager show in Shanghai earlier this year, all eyes have been on its next destination.
From Stray Kids' Felix to Doona Bae and Urassaya Sperbund, celebrities from all over the world showed up in droves to lend their support to Nicolas Ghesquière, Artistic Director of Women’s collections, as he unveiled Louis Vuitton's Cruise 2025 collection.
The Voyager Series
Launched by creative director Nicolas Ghesquière in late 2023, the Voyager has become a moniker for all pre-fall and cruise collections under the French Maison. Making its debut in the futuristic Long Museum in Shanghai, these collections will now be featured in unparalleled locations globally—instilling a sense of awe-inspiring wanderlust and an adventurous spirit.

The Show
This time, the show took place in the vibrant city of Barcelona. Held at the picturesque Park Güell, a public garden and UNESCO World Heritage site, the spellbinding location was characterised by the rustic architecture and the lush greenery that spanned over 17 hectares of botanical spaces.
Created by architect Antoni Gaudí in 1914, this historic site features plenty of eclectic art nouveau references and is deeply inspired by Catalan culture. As the models strutted down the runway in the Maison's latest creations, atmospheric soundtracks "Music for Chameleons" by Gary Numan and "Madame Butterfly" by Malcolm McLaren echoed throughout the venue.

More About the Collection
Paying homage to traditional Spanish culture, the collection features a seamless interplay of rich textures and meticulous details, with a sense of laidback refinement that underpins the entire collection. Opulent adornments such as intricate embroidery and layered fringes juxtaposed Louis Vuitton's signature clean tailoring and understated designs. Take for example, the sharply tailored suit jackets accentuated by graphic motifs, off-the-shoulder dresses made even more billowy by voluminous draping and the most conspicuous, striking footwear paired with minimalistic bags.
