Minimalist

We are opting for a skin-first, almost bare visage, as seen at Chanel and Hermès. To recreate this look, prep the base with ultra-nourishing skin care, followed by a hydrating primer. Apply thin layers of tinted moisturiser and concealer on areas of concern, just to neutralise any redness or discolouration. To lock it in place while still maintaining its luminosity, apply a dusting of powder to the T-zone.

Push Back

We are pulling back the fringed curtains and slicking back our front strands this season. For a softer approach, as seen at Chloé, run mousse from root to tip on damp tresses. As you are blow-drying, brush the front of your hair up and back for a slight lift and lock it in with some hairspray. If you are more inclined towards the full works, like Courrèges' sleek look, load up on gel, and with a bristle brush, apply it from the front to the base of the skull.

Boy Brow

There's nothing quite like a well-tamed bush—and we're talking about the ones on our faces. At Lacoste and Akris, the brows were sculpted yet fluffy for that bushy boy brow look. To recreate it, draw hair-like strokes with an eyebrow pencil just on the front of the brows before applying a brow gel—brushing up and slightly curved out near the ends.

Side Swept

Millennial sisters rejoice as the side part makes its comeback. With the sharp end of a rat tail comb, simply part your hair from the eyebrow arch onwards. From there, you can style it in a variety of ways—including a voluminous blowout with lift and bounce, like at Stella McCartney. Alternatively, you could go full-on 2000's with your hair straight and tucked behind the ear like Tory Burch.

Warm Touch

Spotted on the runways of Fendi and Isabel Marant: Warm, sun-kissed cheeks sans the UV damage. Apply either a peach, coral, terracotta, or golden pink hue along the cheeks as well as across the nose bridge for a faux sunburnt look.

Mermaid Waves

Channel your inner mermaid with these tousled waves as seen at Christian Dior and Roberto Cavalli. There are two ways to achieve this look: With and without heat. For the heatless method, simply apply a styling balm or sea salt spray onto your strands and braid them into two plaits, overnight or until dry. If you're not opposed to heat tools, a triple-waver barrel will instantly give you those bent ends. Once done, run your fingers through the waves to loosen them up and add a light misting of hairspray.

Bitten

For the perfect 'My Lips, But Better' moment, opt for a soft-blushed tint as seen at Christopher Esbe and Laura Biagiotti. Transferproof, waterproof, and, from experience, kissproof, the key to achieving the perfect MLBB is to pick a hue closest to your natural lip colour or slightly darker to add contrast. From there, you can go bare-faced—or add a tinted base, blush, and mascara to up the ante.
