We are now just days away from the New Year and boy, has 2025 been a rollercoaster. Through the year, the ELLE Singapore editorial team has worked tirelessly to tell the stories that matter across fashion, lifestyle and beauty. Between chaotic shoots, back-breaking events and countless meetings, there was also laughter, joy and memories we will carry with us for life. Here, the team reflects on their most impactful memories of 2025, from shared moments of celebration, meeting their heroes and jetsetting across the globe.

This year has truly gone by in a flurry of activities and general hectic-ness. So, it was really good to be able to just chill with the ELLE Singapore and Heart Media Group teams, catch up, and have fun with everyone, even if it was just for a few short hours. Despite the many highs (and a couple of lows) that the year has provided, this day is the one I pick for its friendship, camaraderie, and mindfulness. Here's hoping for more in the coming year.

Stars of The National Day Parade Share What It Takes To Bring Singapore’s Biggest Celebration To Life

My biggest highlight of 2025 was shooting and interviewing the National Day performers and hosts from over the years. After speaking with them, I realised you truly need a sense of humour to be able to weather the countless rehearsals and chaos of the National Day parade, and it was an experience that made me truly appreciate the work they do for our annual celebrations.

My favourite work memory of this year barely felt like work at all—Tommy Hilfiger flew a group of us out to Canouan Island in the Caribbean for a few dream-like days of sun, cerulean seas, and cocktails and dancing on the beach. I also got to have a one-on-one with Mr. Hilfiger himself, who was warm, gracious and hilarious.

A standout moment this year was attending New York Fashion Week in the fall, and meeting one of my favourite Bollywood actresses, Aditi Rao Hydari at the COS fall/winter 2025 show. She was warm, gracious, and effortlessly easy to talk to.

It feels like the year has gone by in the blink of an eye—it's so hard to choose just one highlight of 2025. My highlight of the year, besides experiencing the Singapore GP once again in all its glitz, glam, and chaos, was the launch of YSL Beauty's Libre L'Eau Nue in Desaru, Johor. I got to experience a beachside candlelit dinner, a fragrance workshop, and a party that went well past midnight with good vibes, music, and company all around—truly the epitome of hot girl summer!

My favourite memory this year would definitely be going to Manila in the Philippines—a city that I have never been to before—for the launch of the H&M fall/winter 2025 collection. I had a blast getting to know other local and regional media and the H&M team. Apart from the dinner and runway show during the event, we were also taken to a vibrant restaurant and lounge during the trip filled with delicious food and scrumptious drinks. As someone who loves to travel and discover new places, I truly enjoyed exploring the new city.

My most memorable experience was attending Rado’s boutique and timepiece launch with Ji Chang-wook in Bangkok. Getting to learn, work and play to the absolute fullest in one of my favourite cities in the world made me feel so alive, and those three days flew by in an instant. Meeting Ji Chang-wook—one of my favourite actors of all time—was also a hilarious reminder that I’m still not immune to being starstruck, despite my line of work.
