Rolex and Cortina Watch invite visitors to embark on a horological voyage at Time Zone to Time Zone, an exclusive exhibition at Paragon Level 1 Main Atrium that will run from 24 October to 2 November 2025. Dedicated to the iconic Oyster Perpetual GMT-Master, the showcase celebrates one of the world’s most recognisable timekeeping tools—one that has since grown into an enduring symbol of exploration and connection since its unveil in 1955.

Designed to meet the needs of the emerging jet-set community, the GMT-Master was designed for easy timetelling by people who traversed continents and crossed time zones. Distinguished by its two-colour, 24-hour graduated bezel, and its ability to display a second time zone, the watch quickly became the preferred companion for pilots, travellers, and adventurers.

Oyster Perpetual GMT-Master II - Night and day

Through immersive displays, thematic panels, and a short documentary film, visitors will trace the evolution of the GMT-Master and GMT-Master II and discover how this legendary timepiece has continually advanced through Rolex’s watchmaking innovation. Highlights include the evolution of the bezel from Plexiglas to aluminium to modern ceramic, as well as the transition from calibre 1036 to the latest calibre 3285 featuring an independently adjustable hour hand.

Beyond its technical milestones, the exhibition also celebrates the GMT-Master’s role in shaping travel culture in the modern age. There is a section dedicated to the explorers, aviators, and artists who have worn it while pushing boundaries across the globe.
