To commemorate the occasion, Marina Bay Sands hosted an unforgettable celebration at LAVO, with special appearances by Sands Global Ambassador David Beckham, Thai heartthrob Win Metawin, fashion sensation Heart Evangelista, and Indonesian star Luna Maya.

Prior to the evening’s festivities, we caught up with Luna, who shared insights into her career journey and offered advice to young women.
What challenges did you face in the early days, and how did they shape you into the star you are today?
In those days, there was no social media, so every project and opportunity came purely from my hard work. Each time I faced rejection, I simply tried again. I never gave up.
What did you find most exciting about attending, and how would you describe the atmosphere?
The Marina Bay Sands I knew before was nothing like this. Now, it feels new, more vibrant, and fresh. I’m thrilled to be here and to be part of “Above Beyond.”
As your influence reaches beyond Indonesia, what message would you like to share with young women in the region who look up to you?
I’d say, first and foremost, look up to yourself and be an active part of your own journey. If there’s something you want to achieve, be present and fully engaged. Don’t let anyone’s negativity hold you back—they’re only trying to bring you down. Keep moving forward, and above all, stay happy inside and out.
