Jung Hae-in doesn’t rely on spectacle to make an impression. His magnetism is quiet and deliberate, the kind that lingers in small gestures and measured glances. Over the past decade, he has made a name for himself in South Korean film and television for performances that reward patience and attention—from his empathetic sincerity in While You Were Sleeping (2017) to the restrained intensity in D.P. (2021) and layered vulnerability in Something in the Rain (2018). Each role revealed an actor who is versed in the art of nuance, capable of conveying depth without theatrical flourish. It’s this non-performative dedication to craft that sets him apart in a landscape often defined by showmanship.
It’s also what makes him perfect as an ambassador for Tommy Hilfiger’s fall/winter 2025 campaign, The Hilfiger Racing Club. The collection features tartan shirts, suede jackets, and cashmere coats in colours rooted in heritage—red, white, blue, green and khaki. It’s where prep classics meet motorsport nostalgia, and Jung wears the collection with the same measured calm he brings to his craft: Unforced, confident, and quietly magnetic. In a campaign built on speed and energy, he becomes the steady centre, proving that poise is often the most compelling form of motion. His boyish charms and killer smile don’t hurt, either.

It was incredibly fun.

As a public figure, how do you maintain your balance?
Maintaining a balance between acting and personal life is paramount in order to cope with a constant workload. To achieve this, I maintain a healthy and positive attitude, and keep my body strong because it is the foundation of everything; so I maintain a regular exercise routine.
Who is your role model? How did they inspire you to become who you are today?
It's so hard to pick just one person! I admire several people, one of whom is my father. He's a self-disciplined, helpful person who always inspires me.
What's the most common misconception about you?
I don't try to change the minds of those who misunderstand me from the start. I firmly believe that time will reveal all.

Why do you love acting so much, and what do you consider when accepting a role?
The time I spend immersed in a performance is often what motivates me the most. When a work is finished and released to the public, I'm always overwhelmed with joy and excitement, which also gives me immense motivation. I'm also encouraged when I hear from fans or others that they like my work.
You've achieved success in your acting career. What's your next dream?
My goal is to continue acting and hope that my work can bring joy to people.
