Despite vast global food production, child hunger remains a heartbreaking reality. Millions of children grapple with food insecurity, meaning they lack consistent access to enough nutritious food to live a healthy life.

This crisis is particularly severe for young children, with estimates suggesting over 350 million children experience hunger and 45 million under-fives suffer from severe malnutrition. These deficiencies contribute to almost half of all deaths in children under five. The causes of child hunger are complex, often stemming from poverty, conflict, and climate shocks.

Beauty That Cares

For decades, French beauty expert Clarins has championed the well-being of children around the world. Now, they're taking a powerful step forward in the fight against child hunger through a new partnership with Mary's Meals, a major international charity that provides life-changing meals to children in some of the world's poorest communities.

This isn't Clarins' first foray into making a difference. Since 2011, their collaboration with FEED has provided over 41 million meals to those in need. This new initiative with Mary's Meals builds on that incredible success, focusing on both nourishment and education.

A Global First

This collaboration marks a significant milestone for Mary's Meals. Clarins is their first ever global commercial partner, bringing a wealth of resources and support to the fight against childhood hunger. Together, they aim to tackle malnutrition, improve school attendance, and provide a brighter future for children worldwide.

Currently, Mary's Meals feeds a staggering 2.4 million children every day at schools across 18 countries. Through this partnership, Clarins is firmly committed to helping Mary's Meals reach even further.
