Louis Vuitton’s fall/winter 2025 men’s collection marks a bold new chapter in the brand’s journey, blending history with the future through a dynamic collaboration between Pharrell Williams and Nigo. Titled "Remember the Future", the collection encapsulates the spirit of two cultural icons whose bond, rooted in shared experiences within streetwear, continues to redefine fashion.
The vision for the collection was born from the mutual respect and influence between Pharrell and Nigo, whose respective archives are instrumental in creating the pieces that graced the runway. Drawing upon Nigo’s vast archive of twentieth-century workwear and Pharrell’s streetwear mastery, the duo brings to life a fresh perspective on traditional tailoring, casual streetwear, and Japanese artistry. The collaboration highlights a synergy between the duo’s aesthetic expressions and Louis Vuitton’s ongoing legacy, honouring the global community of creators and visionaries that fuel future creativity.

A Futuristic Vision, Anchored in the Past
Held at the Cour Carrée du Louvre, the runway show was set against a striking backdrop designed by Wonderwall, the Tokyo-based design company led by Masamichi Katayama. The installation featured 24 archival vitrines, each representing a pivotal cultural moment from the past, curated from the Louis Vuitton archives, private collections, and those of Pharrell and Nigo. These vitrines, displayed around the circular stage, highlighted the intersection of history and innovation, showcasing how past influences continue to shape the creative landscape of today.
In keeping with the idea of a “future archive,” the collection itself merged past and present. The Phriendship graphics—depicting the faces of Pharrell and Nigo—were emblazoned on pieces that symbolise their long-standing collaboration and friendship. The graphic imagery served as both a celebration of their journey and a nod to the streetwear culture that connects their shared history.

A Modern Reinterpretation of Streetwear Icons
Silhouettes from the early 2000s, synonymous with streetwear’s rise to prominence, were reimagined in the Louis Vuitton men’s fall/winter 2025 collection. The lines between streetwear and dandyism blurred as workwear staples, such as sculpted bomber jackets, parkas, and varsity jackets, were transformed with refined materials and technical expertise. The collection also featured tailored suits and casualwear that incorporated Japanese techniques and silhouettes, with attention to detail in fabrics and stitching. A combination of suiting, workwear, and sportswear provided a modern take on traditional wardrobes, a testament to Pharrell and Nigo’s ability to reframe and elevate familiar garments.
Subcultural nods to rockabilly and mod styles further injected energy into the collection, paying tribute to movements that have influenced both designers. The inclusion of materials like denim, leather, and technical fabrics in unexpected combinations underlined the innovative spirit that defined the collection.

Japanese Influence in Every Detail
A key influence throughout the collection was Japan’s rich history of craftsmanship and design. The collaboration’s Dandy Monogram fused Louis Vuitton’s iconic flower motif with shippo weaving, resulting in a diamond pattern that appeared in jacquards, denim, and crystal embroidery. Similarly, the Dandy Damier pattern drew inspiration from Japanese tea ceremony textiles and was realised in an array of pieces, from denim to leather.
Motifs such as the Cherry Blossom Damoflage brought an iconic Japanese element to the forefront. This pattern, executed in sakura pink, added a playful touch to the collection, while the Kasuri weaving technique appeared in tailored pieces, further honouring the craftsmanship inherent to Japanese textiles.
Bags and Accessories
Bags were a key focal point of the collection, with the introduction of several new styles that represented the creative union of Pharrell Williams and Nigo. The Damier Phriendship bags featured the duo’s face profiles, celebrating their enduring partnership. These bags were crafted in the Dandy Damier canvas, and the lining was adapted from the Dandy Monogram. The Damier Scribbles bags, featuring hand-drawn graffiti-like lettering from Nigo, further showcased the personal connection between the two creators.
The collection also introduced Speedy bags in distinctive colours inspired by Japanese culture, such as yuzu yellow, sencha green, and sakura pink. Exceptional versions of these bags, crafted in croc and denim, added an elevated touch to Louis Vuitton’s legacy of luxury bags. The On The Road and Workwear bags, inspired by biker and military styles, presented an unexpected yet refined edge to the collection’s accessories offering.
The collection was a powerful reminder of the intersection between high fashion and street culture, all framed within a broader narrative of creativity, innovation, and collaboration.
