Starring acclaimed actresses Juliette Binoche and Glenn Close alongside a star-studded cast, the series is based on the true story of fashion luminary Christian Dior (played by Ben Mendelsohn). This series also features Dior's contemporaries, including Coco Chanel, Pierre Balmain, and Cristóbal Balenciaga, as they launch modern fashion in Paris during the horrors of World War II. For the show's world premiere in New York City, Close and Binoche paid respect to one of the most iconic haute couture designers, stylishly dressed in designs from Dior.

Wearing designs by the brand's current creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri, both actresses wore an all-black ensemble featuring some of Dior's classic and elevated silhouettes and designs. Close, who plays fashion journalism legend Carmel Snow in the series, showcased the timeless elegance of Dior in a wool silk blend Bar suit. Her outfit was styled alongside a classic Lady D-Joy bag, embroidered brooches and earrings with gold pearl accents, leather gloves, and a pair of twinkling Dior heels.
As for Binoche, who portrays iconic designer Coco Chanel, she wore a sophisticated slightly off-shoulder wool crepe dress with an eye-catching sisal hat adorning the top of her head. She completed the look with leather gloves and sleek boots for an elevated contemporary look.
