Roger Vivier officially opened the doors to its new flagship boutique at Takashimaya Shopping Centre, marking a new chapter for the Maison in Singapore. The occasion was celebrated with the arrival of global brand ambassador Yeji of South Korean girl group ITZY. Before stepping out for the evening's festivities, the K-pop star invited ELLE Singapore into her hotel suite as she put the finishing touches on her look.
The star carried the Belle Vivier Clutch in tortoise-effect patent leather—a modern interpretation of one of the House's most iconic bags—styled with the nappa leather Viv' Rangers loafers and Très Vivier earrings reminiscent of the sixties. All three pieces were complemented with the crystal buckle, an embellishment synonymous with the House's design sense.

After getting dressed, the star headed to Takashimaya Shopping Centre for the celebration. The flagship store introduces a refined retail concept inspired by the Maison's historic Paris boutique on rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré. Designed to evoke the feeling of an elegant Parisian apartment, the space consists of oak parquet floors, intricate ceiling mouldings and softly layered white, beige and silver stucco walls. Blush-pink furniture and mirrored walls decorate the boutique. Artworks by Roger Vivier and pieces by Hervé Van der Straeten line the walls, pulling the entire store together. And completing the immersive experience is the Salle d'Argent—an intimate salon covered entirely in real silver leaf, reserved for appointments.

In light of the opening, the Maison released an exclusive capsule collection of four limited-edition Pièce Unique bags. There's a mint green bag with hand-applied iridescent sequins in the shape of flowers (nodding to our country's natural landscape), a lilac piece paying homage to our National flower Vanda Miss Joaquim, an embellished purse in our national colour red, and lastly, an ivory bag with layered sequins to represent the Merlion's scales. Inspired by Singapore, these hand-crafted pieces are available only at the new Takashimaya boutique.
