For her big night at the Grammys, Blackpink's Rosé looked chic in a strapless Saint Laurent dress with bows in lace and sequins. For the high-energy performance with Bruno Mars, she changed into a cropped cotton tank top, silk satin tie and grain de poudre trousers. Beside her, pop star Bruno Mars donned a tuxedo jacket and trousers as they sang their hit single "APT" to open the award show. This makes her the first solo K-pop artist to perform on this stage. Both artists were up for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, all for “APT.”

At the start of the set, the Korean singer planted a playful kiss on Mars' cheek as he strummed the guitar beside her. The act was up-beat and lively, with Rosé dancing around the stage. Popular stars in the audience, such as Billie Eilish, Miley Cyrus, Bad Bunny and many more were also singing along, enjoying the sequence. During the song's climatic bridge, Rosé dramatically knelt on her knees, throwing her head back with her hand in the air. Finally, the pair ended the single with a smiling embrace.

While Mars has taken home 13 Grammy awards over the year, this is Rosé's first nomination. It is also the first time a K-pop singer has been nominated in the general field categories, marking quite the milestone.
During a recent appearance on a podcast show, Rosé shared about how much the nominations meant to her. “This Grammy nomination, it feels like, ‘Oh my gosh! I never thought that would be possible! Like, yes, Blackpink… and we’re getting so much love and I’m so grateful for that, and it’s so exciting, but that I didn’t think would be a possibility, but I feel like quite similar. So it’s like the second chapter of my life, like, ‘Oh my gosh!'” she excitedly explains.

She also added about the possibility of a solo tour. "I’ve always just thought, I want to be able to create a real solid world to present to everyone. I didn’t want to feel rushed because that first solo album… the whole thing was just a learning curve, and I needed that time to really learn about the album. And so I feel like to create a whole world on stage, I need more time to build on that with extra songs as well, because right now I only have 12, and I don’t feel ready to create a whole body of work for everyone yet. I just want everyone to be patient. Because I feel like once I do start, I feel like I’d love it so much that I would want to do it for so long, so I don’t want to ruin that experience.”
