If you ask us, there’s never a wrong time or way to wear sunglasses. Whether you wear them to push back your bangs like a headband, or low on your nose, the perfect specs can instantly elevate any outfit or selfie. And from chunky silhouettes to tiny frames, there’s certainly no shortage of styles to choose from.
Someone who knows the sartorial value of chic eyewear? Why Beyoncé, of course. And she’s an expert at styling them. On New Year’s Eve, the Crazy in Love songstress took a quick mirror selfie of her preppy fit—and whilst the Clueless-inspired set was perfect, it was her statement sunglasses that caught our, ahem, eye.
It turns out these blocky, white frames belong to none other than Oscar & Frank, an Australian label that specialises in luxury eyewear. The entire range is 100 per cent designed in-house and is handcrafted using the world’s finest materials sourced from Italy, France & Germany.
The coveted sunglasses brand has also counts Paris Hilton, Adriana Lima, and both Justin and Hailey Bieber among its A-list fans.
Beyoncé wore a unisex style called Lil Jet in White/Black, which you can treat yourself to for $210. The style is also available in black as well as a light or dark tort and are embellished with Oscar & Frank’s signature oversized 24k gold X logo.
This isn’t the first time that the Single Ladies singer has been spotted wearing this local brand either. Back in October 2022, she was photographed wearing Oscar & Frank’s limited edition Made in Japan style.
Who Will Oscar & Frank’s Lil Jet Sunglasses Suit?
The tricky thing when it comes to sunglasses is finding a frame that matches your face shape. We’ve all felt personally victimised when we’ve tried on a trending pair and wound up feeling less than chic (something Beyoncé likely can’t relate to, as her oval face shape means she can get away with most styles, and she is, of course, Beyoncé).
Thankfully, the Lil Jet sunglasses are a versatile pair that works well with most shapes, due to the rectangular frame. They perfectly complement those with rounder features, but can also add length to those with shorter faces.
