Singaporean wellness brand Moom Health has teamed up with local activewear label Cheak to launch an exciting new collection that embodies the essence of recovery, rest, and rehydration. This highly anticipated collaboration marks Moom Health’s debut product partnership, featuring their latest innovation, Hydr-aid—a zero-sugar, all-natural electrolyte powder—alongside Cheak’s chic five-piece clothing capsule.

The partnership between Moom Health and Cheak feels like a natural fit, as both brands are driven by a shared commitment to wellness, quality, and community engagement. "Our brands both speak to the emerging wellness culture across Singapore," says Tiffany Chng, co-founder of Cheak. This collaboration seamlessly blends Moom's expertise in health supplements with Cheak’s flair for stylish, functional activewear, resulting in a collection that reflects their mutual dedication to well-being.

Introducing the Moom x Cheak Collection

At the heart of this collaboration is Moom Health’s Hydr-aid, a light citrus crush flavoured electrolyte powder. Unlike typical electrolyte supplements, Hydr-aid is designed for daily hydration, not just post-exercise recovery. "Staying hydrated is linked to a longer, healthier life," explains Maya Kale, co-founder of Moom Health. Hydr-aid’s formula includes high-quality ingredients such as Pink Himalayan Salt and Coconut Water, making it an essential part of any wellness routine.

Complementing the Hydr-aid supplement is Cheak’s new line of activewear and loungewear. The collection features two retro-coloured activewear sets made from Cheak’s signature BaseFlex fabric, known for its breathability and soft texture. These pieces are designed to transition effortlessly from an intense workout to a relaxing day at home. The collection also introduces a new waffle knit fabric in the form of stylish lounge sets, perfect for Singapore’s humid climate.

The Moom x Cheak collaboration collection officially launches today and will be available on Moom Health’s website, Shopee, and at Cheak’s pop-up at Tangs, Orchard. Early access will be available during exclusive community events in Singapore and Malaysia, allowing fans to experience the collection firsthand.

Here, the founders catch up with ELLE to share their insights on this thoughtful collab.

How did the collaboration between Moom Health and Cheak come about, and what inspired this partnership? 

Cheak: First and foremost, we both emphasise community and treat our community like our KOLs! Our customers are paramount and everything we do is created for them and, as much as possible, with them.

Moom: Additionally, we both believe in making wellness work for you and not be something daunting. Whether it’s putting on a cute workout set to get ready for a walk or an intense Barry’s class, or taking one or eight supplements daily, just make it achievable and something you can do on a daily basis. This is something that all four of us truly believe in and have implemented into our lives as female founders—balance and finding what works for you is everything. Finally, as female founders in Singapore, we are strong advocates for working with one another and building together! 

Cheak is renowned for its fashion-forward activewear. How does this collection blend the aesthetics of both active and recovery modes? 

Cheak: This collection was inspired by rugby athletes in the ’90s who wore a team sweater set pre- and post-game. The crush midline bra is a nod to the classic racerback but with an added sculpted look when paired with the Crush Leggings with the front V-waistband. The primary tones of navy and maroon alongside details like the contrasting stripes add to the retro sporty aesthetic. The pieces in this collection are designed to be worn interchangeably. For workouts, you can wear the active set on its own. For recovery, the same pieces can be styled and layered with the waffle pieces for a more casual look.

Could you explain the significance of introducing a new material, like waffle knit, to the Cheak family through this collaboration? 

Cheak: We believe recovery is equally as important as being active and we believe our product range should reflect this. Waffle Knit is known for its texture and breathability and with the Rugby sweater set, our customers are able to cosy up in style, post workout. 

Hydr-aid is Moom Health's second powder supplement. What distinguishes it from your first, and how does it align with the wellness trends you're observing? 

Moom: At Moom, we remain committed to our core values: High-quality ingredients, great taste, zero sugar, no fillers or additives, plant-based formulas, and 100 per centnatural products. Our first powder was designed to support hormonal balance, fertility, PCOS, endometriosis, and period regulation. Hydr-aid, our zero-sugar electrolyte blend, is crafted for recovery and rehydration. While recovery methods like infrared saunas and cold plunges have gained popularity, we focus on solutions that go beyond trends, addressing the real needs of our consumers. Electrolytes are essential for everyone—whether it's post-workout, during pregnancy or breastfeeding, while travelling, or maintaining skin health and hydration.

Could you share more about the specific benefits of the ingredients used in Hydr-aid, such as Pink Himalayan Salt and Coconut Water? 

Moom: Pink Himalayan salt, coconut water, and magnesium are essential for optimal hydration and recovery. Pink Himalayan salt replenishes sodium lost during workouts, breastfeeding, and pregnancy, while coconut water hydrates the body and supports recovery. Magnesium aids in muscular and nervous system recovery, especially after workouts, travel, or long days. Potassium is crucial for cell, nerve, and muscle function. These ingredients work together to provide comprehensive hydration and support for overall well-being.
