Acclaimed for her outstanding roles in Korean television shows, South Korean actress Kim You Jung was just announced as Charles & Keith’s newest brand ambassador. The star joins the Singaporean brand as it continues to champion individuality, confidence, and a contemporary approach to style. 

For many K-drama fans, You Jung needs little introduction. Having started her career as a child actress, she quickly became one of South Korea’s most recognisable young stars. She was affectionately nicknamed “Korea’s Little Sister” in her early years after making her on-screen debut in the 2004 documentary film DMZ, bimujang jidae (Demilitarized Zone) at just five years old. She later earned the title of “Sageuk Fairy” thanks to a series of memorable roles in historical dramas.

Over the years, You Jung has built an impressive body of work spanning both historical productions and romantic comedies. Moon Embracing the Sun (2012), Love in the Moonlight (2016) and Lovers of the Red Sky (2021) are some of her most well-known shows. Her modern series Backstreet Rookie (2020), Clean with Passion for Now (2018), and Dear X (2025) have also been great hits.

It’s safe to say that her career shows no signs of slowing down. The actress is set to star in the upcoming spy-romance series 100 Days of Lies, which will premiere later this year on tvN and Netflix. She will also be continuing her role in the psychological romance thriller Dear X. Not to mention, fans are also looking forward to seeing her reunite with the cast of Love in the Moonlight for a special 10th-anniversary show: Gureum 10th Anniversary Special.

As a testament to her talent, You Jung has also won a multitude of awards for her roles. At just 17 years old, she became the youngest person to enter the Top 10 of the Forbes Korea Power Celebrity list. She has also been awarded many awards, including Best New Actress, Excellence Awards and more at the Baeksang Arts Awards, KBS Drama Awards, and SBS Drama Awards.
