Ina Garten is cooking up something funny for the latest season of her Food Network show. The Barefoot Contessa will welcome comedian Tina Fey for the premiere episode of Be My Guest, which kicks off on October 19. In the series, now in its seventh season, Garten and husband Jeffrey welcome a slew of celebrity guests and friends to their East Hampton barn for food, wine, and a lot of laughter.

In the new season, Garten—who also shares useful tips and tricks on her Substack—will host The Gilded Age star Christine Baranski, Schiaparelli creative director Daniel Roseberry, and violinist Itzhak Perlman.

On Monday, Garten took to Instagram to share a first-look clip from the premiere episode featuring Fey and also share what was on the menu during the 30 Rock star’s visit. “After talking about comedy and careers, Tina shows me how to make her signature Greek Lemon Potatoes,” wrote Garten. “Then, I show Tina how to make Chicken Thighs with Creamy Mustard Sauce. It’s a Jeffrey-approved menu!”

Other recipes that will feature into the season are maple-oatmeal scones and a potato galette with smoked salmon—both on Baranski’s episode.
Garten was the longtime host of her last Food Network show, Barefoot Contessa, which ran for two decades and turned her into a household name. Last year, she released a no-holds-barred memoir Be Ready When the Luck Happens.
Season 7 of Be My Guest premieres on October 19 at 11 a.m. ET on Food Network and streaming the following day on HBO Max and Discovery+ in the United States, Latin America, Canada, and various parts of Europe.
