The Buccaneers

With gossip, love, and drama, The Buccaneers is sure to fill the appetites of Gossip Girl fans. Based on the unfinished novel by Edith Wharton, the historical drama revolves around five wealthy American women (played by Kristine Froseth, Alisha Boe, Aubri Ibrag, Josie Totah, and Imogen Waterhouse) as they deal with culture clashes, friendship, opposing traditions, and relationships within London's high society during the Gilded Age. For fans of the Upper East Side, season two is a must-watch as Leighton Meester stars as Nell, the 'aunt' of Kristine's Nan (that's as much as we can say).

We Were Liars

10 years after it was first published, E.Lockhart's We Were Liars is back and in full motion for our viewing pleasure. The series adaptation of the psychological thriller centres around the wealthy Sinclair family, who spend every summer on their private island. That is, until Cady (played by Emily Alyn Lind) suffers an accident and struggles to remember the events of the past summer.

The Summer I Turned Pretty

A summer series filled with romance and drama? Sign us up. Based on the trilogy by Jenny Han, The Summer I Turned Pretty follows Belly (played by Lola Tung), whose family stays with her mother's best friend and her sons Conrad (played by Christopher Briney) and Jeremiah (played by Gavin Casalegno) at their home every summer. However, things change after she turns sixteen, and her relationship with the brothers take a turn.

Forever

Based on Judy Blume's novel of the same name, Forever explores teenage love in all its facets. Set in 2018 Los Angeles, the series follows two young athletes, Keisha (played by Lovie Simone) and Justin (played by Michael Cooper Jr.), who fall in love amidst pressure from their families to get athletic college scholarships.

Forever is streaming on Netflix.

The Leopard

An adaptation of one of the greatest Italian novels of all time, Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa's The Leopard is a sizzling epic worth reading subtitles for. Set in 19th-century Sicily, the series follows The Prince of Salina (played by Kim Rossi Stuart) and his aristocratic family as he forges new allegiances to protect his family's future at the expense of his principles.

Bet

Based on Homura Kawamoto's Kakegurui - Compulsive Gambler, Bet is all about high stakes and even bigger risks. The teen drama follows Yumeko (played by Miku Martineau), a transfer student at St. Dominic's Prep, where underground gambling dictates social order. Set on revenge, she is set on getting into the school's top rankings to figure out which of the governors killed her parents.

Maxton Hall — The World Between Us

Enemies to lovers, anyone? Based on the novel Save Me by Mona Kasten, Maxton Hall — The World Between Us is a German series that follows Ruby Bell (played by Harriet Herbig-Matten), a smart student who enters Maxton Hall on a scholarship, who accidentally witnesses a secret. As her rich, arrogant classmate James Beaufort (played by Damian Hardung) tries to silence her, they ignite a spark between them that neither expected.

My Fault: London

Fans of the Spanish adaptation of Culpa Mía will love the English rendition of the romantic drama. My Fault: London follows Noah (played by Asha Banks), who moves to London with her mother to live with her stepfather and stepbrother Noah (played by Matthew Broome). With an intense attraction between them (gross, but okay), Noah has to deal with her past, all while falling in love.

My Fault: London is streaming on Prime.
