Fast forward four decades later, the brand he founded is teaming up with TAG Heuer, the maker of the watch that kickstarted his collection, to recreate the archival piece. This collaboration revives the original Formula 1 Series 1 designed by Eddy Burgener, with a few contemporary twists. For instance, better quality materials and bolder colour ways. The original series' bracelets that came in stainless steel or fiberglass variants are now refined in robust 35mm black PVD steel, and secured by fine brushed steel folding clasps or arnite pin buckles respectively.

This collection introduces 10 new pieces, including stainless steel and rubber bracelet editions—seven of which are exclusive to Kith. Elsewhere, vibrant colour ways like Sport Car Red, Black and Yellow, Green, Yellow, and Red pay tribute to the 1980's version in partnership with Japanese F1 driver, Ukyo Katayama.
