Fashion and Glam: The Carolina Herrera Look
When the invitation to attend the CFDA Fashion Awards arrived, Pia was determined to honour the occasion with a statement piece from an iconic American designer. “Choosing Carolina Herrera was natural. I wanted a look that spoke for itself—a true Herrera creation, unmistakable even without a label,” she shares. Pia’s choice of a bold-coloured gown encapsulated Herrera’s elegance while allowing the dress itself to take centre stage. To keep the look refined yet impactful, Pia chose minimalist Bulgari jewellery that quietly amplified the gown’s allure. “Even in simplicity, Bulgari has a way of standing out,” she adds. With her hair pulled back into a sleek style and a soft, nude makeup look, Pia achieved a harmonious, sophisticated appearance that spoke volumes in its simplicity.

Pia admires Daniel Roseberry, creative director of Schiaparelli, for his extraordinary journey and pioneering work in fashion. “Hearing him speak about his path—from sleeping on a friend’s tatami mat to leading a French haute couture house—was so inspiring,” she recounts. Roseberry’s bravery in his creative endeavours, bolstered by the support of his family and community, struck a chord with Pia. “It’s amazing to see an American designer bring a fresh perspective to French couture,” she notes, adding that his story highlights the importance of a nurturing environment for any artist to thrive.
