“I love exploring new places whenever I travel,” says Mile Phakphum Romsaithong, flashing his signature thousand-watt smile. We’re seated in a luxury MPV, cutting through the winding streets of Hannam-dong. Outside, the upscale Seoul neighbourhood hums with an unmistakable cool—glass-fronted boutiques and low-slung cafés embodying the effortless style the city has made its own. We’re en route to our second location for the day’s video shoot, but for Mile, the journey seems just as vital as the destination.

For anyone even peripherally tuned into the global rise of Thai entertainment, Mile is a defining presence in the scene. While the 33-year-old actor and musician first reached international stardom through the 2022 phenomenon KinnPorsche, he has consistently expanded his repertoire with high-stakes projects. From his acclaimed performance in the period thriller Man Suang (2023)—which took him to the world stage at Cannes—to his upcoming roles in the historical drama Shine and the high-octane The Hidden Character (2023), each project reinforces a screen presence defined by equal parts restraint and magnetism.

Beyond the screen, Mile has carved out a formidable niche as a global style savant. As a House Ambassador for Dior and a front-row regular at Paris Fashion Week, he possesses a rare ability to blend high-fashion sophistication with a rugged, approachable charm. It's a quality that has made him a muse for heritage houses and contemporary labels alike.

His influence, however, extends far beyond the red carpet. With his recent turn as a mentor on The Face Men Thailand (Season 4), Mile transitioned from the face of fashion to a seasoned strategist, guiding the next generation of talent through the nuances of the industry.

This dual identity, as both a cinematic force and a sartorial influencer, is what brings us to Seoul. In the world of contemporary fashion, Mile represents a shift toward a more thoughtful, versatile masculinity, making his partnership with COS a natural alignment of values. As we move through the heart of the city, we sit down to discuss his presence at the spring/summer 2026 runway show and how he navigates his ever-evolving relationship with style.

Tell us about the look you were going for and how you arrived at the final look.

"For this look, I wanted something that felt clean, minimal, but still unique—very much in line with COS’s DNA. I focused on the silhouette and fabric, which are the brand's DNA, and after exploring a few options, I arrived at a look that felt natural to me while still refined and elevated."

What is your relationship with fashion, and what do you want to convey through your sartorial choices?

"Fashion is a way to express identity without saying a word, reflecting one’s style and interests at a particular moment in life. For me, fashion carries my emotions—it brings confidence and a sense of fun."

What stood out to you from this collection?

"I’m particularly drawn to the tailored pieces in this collection—especially the structured outerwear and relaxed trousers. They strike a great balance between sharpness and ease, making them incredibly versatile.

The runway show was a wonderful experience. I had the chance to meet creatives and industry friends from around the world, which was very inspiring. It also gave me deeper insight into the creative direction behind the collection. And most importantly, the fabric's quality and the room it offers for mix-and-match styling are part of the collection’s unique charm."

How would you sum up your time in Seoul with COS?

"My time in Seoul with COS was truly memorable. The city has such a distinct energy and style, and experiencing it alongside the brand made it even more meaningful and inspiring. Beyond that, the COS family is incredibly warm and welcoming. We shared a fun dinner and exchanged inspiration about fashion and art."
