As the Year of the Snake is set to uncoil with its serpentine energy, both elegant and transformative, BOSS strikes early with a capsule collection titled Creation of the Gods. A dialogue between Eastern mythology and contemporary design sensibilities, each piece is set to serve as an auspicious way to refresh one's wardrobe before Chinese New Year 2025.

The campaign features the compelling presence of Creation of the Gods I: Kingdom of Storms actor Li Yunrui and model Li Linzi who have slipped into pieces from the capsule collection. In a sophisticated exploration of Chinese chromatics set against silhouettes signature to BOSS —minimalist, voluminous, and easygoing—the pieces are punctuated by the ceremonial warmth of "Ji Jin" gold—a signature element from the film's visual language.

Making a strong showing, too, is the reimagined BOSS logo and Double-B monogram that now draws inspiration from Shang and Zhou dynasty bronzeware. Emerging as a gilded symbolic resonance of the serpent on pieces like a leather varsity jacket, sweaters, and track pants, it brings double happiness to an optimistic colour palette of red and black.
And while the serpentine charm of red is a staple for Chinese New Year, the collection's black pieces like denim and sweaters will prove their versatility once the season is over.
With the new year fast approaching, the collection also coincides with the release of Creation of the Gods II starring Li Yunrui on 29 January 2025, so before you book your tickets, make sure you're prepped and poised by shopping the collection first.
The campaign officially launched this week, and BOSS's Creation of the Gods collection is now available on https://www.hugoboss.com/sg.
