Sweep the deeper shades from the Ever Icon Eye Palette in 02 Rose Goddess across the lids and along the lower lash line. Fill in the waterline and under-eye with the Sleek Kohl Glider in 02 Espresso Brown, then extend the outer corners with the Everink Liner and softly smudge for definition. Lightly tap Cherry Glaze Bar in 03 Cheeky Coral beneath the cheekbones. Finish with Rose Dew Lip Bite in 05 Dreamy Rosewood on the lips.

With her luminous complexion and doll-like features, it’s easy to see why TWICE’s Chaeyoung is the face of Dolce&Gabbana Beauty’s “Fresh Look” campaign. She may be one of the youngest members in the K-pop group, but her steadfast and fiercely independent spirit shows a maturity beyond her years. She embodies exactly what the brand’s Makeup Wardrobe celebrates: Beauty as an authentic expression of self—free, bold, and constantly evolving. 

Her sense of individualism and authenticity can be seen and heard in her very first solo album, released in 2025. Titled Lil Fantasy Vol. 1, the 10 tracks have been heavily influenced by the 27-year-old’s personal stories, exploring themes of loneliness such as in “BF”, toxic relationships in “Band-Aid”, and independence in “Shadow Puppets”. It may have taken her three years, but it’s an album that she’s extremely proud of. “I wanted to properly show who ‘Chaeyoung’ is as a person, since it was my first solo album,” she says. 

Interestingly, the South Korean rapper-singer has writing and arranging credits on nearly all of the tracks in the album. Though when asked if she was meticulous in the planning, especially with the album’s long preparation period, Chaeyoung shares that she wasn’t. “Not at all. I’m very spontaneous,” she jests. “For about two of those three years, I was just working with friends or building my portfolio on my own.” Those friends included singer-songwriter Sumin, and rapper-singer-songwriter Jibin of Y2K92 who helped her produce the track “Ribbons”.

When it comes to beauty, Chaeyoung is a chameleon—she moves easily between personas. “Makeup feels like becoming a character. When it matches the concept, I immerse myself more in the song and gain confidence,” she expresses. She went from glamorous and dazzling during TWICE’s Feel Special comeback in 2019, to soft and ethereal in the group’s More & More comeback in 2020, and then delivering a whimsical Lolita-esque vibe for her own Lil Fantasy Vol. 1 solo. 

She has shared in previous interviews that she’s more of a lipstick girl. So it’s not surprising then that Chaeyoung’s favourite look from the four Dolce&Gabbana Beauty Fresh Looks created is the one where she spots juicy kissable lips and a soft flush on the cheeks. “I barely did any eye makeup and only used blush and lippie—it felt closest to my everyday self.”

Line the waterline with Sleek Kohl Glider in 01 Total Black, then sweep a soft rosewood shade from the Ever Icon Eye Palette in 02 Rose Goddess lightly across the lids. Define each lash with Everfull XL Mascara. Tap Cherry Glaze Bar in 02 Smitten Pink generously across the cheeks and over the bridge of the nose. Complete the look with Rose Dew Lip Bite in 02 Dainty Mauve for a hydrated, softly flushed pink lip. 

Embodying the spirit of the brand’s Fresh Look campaign, Chaeyoung wears two newly launched Dolce&Gabbana Beauty novelties—the Rose Dew Lip Bite and Cherry Glaze Bar–24H Glow Blush Stick—to show the products’ versatility and youthful vibrancy.

Fill both the upper and lower waterlines with Sleek Kohl Glider in 01 Total Black, and extend the eyes with a long flick using the Ever Ink Liner. Layer Rose Dew Lip Bite in 06 Quirky Mocha on the lips for a sensual, high-shine look.

For extra lustre on the lips, layer on the Oil Lip Plumpers for a soft flush of glossy colour that makes your pout plump and juicy instantly.
