At Mizu Aesthetic Clinic, beauty isn't just about appearances—it’s about confidence. Dr Tan Ying Zhou, the clinic’s medical director, has created the Signature Radiance Revival to meet the demands of clients juggling multiple skin concerns. Whether it's dullness, uneven texture, fine lines or pigmentation, this treatment seeks to achieve effective results with minimal downtime—a commitment that has earned it a spot among the winners at the ELLE Singapore Spa Awards 2024.
The three-step protocol blends clinically-proven technology with thoughtful customisation: RF microneedling, skin boosters, and a yellow laser to finish. These aren't just popular treatments bundled together; Dr Tan’s consideration lies in tailoring them for synergy, ensuring every step complements the next, without overwhelming the skin.
Designed to brighten skin, boost hydration, refine pores, and reduce redness, the Signature Radiance Revival is ideal for most skin types. However, those with sensitive conditions like eczema, severe acne, or skin sensitivity should consult with the clinic first.
The Process: Step-by-Step
The treatment begins with an FDA-approved radiofrequency (RF) microneedling device. This step aims to stimulate collagen and elastin production, address fine lines and enlarged pores and tighten the skin. The microneedling creates micro-injuries that jumpstart the body’s natural repair process, while the RF energy heats deep layers to contract collagen fibres. Our tester found this part manageable, especially with numbing cream applied beforehand.
The second step involves micro-injections of skin boosters, a cocktail of ingredients from hyaluronic acid and antioxidants to polynucleotides depending on what your skin needs. This not only hydrates and nourishes the skin but also works deeper by stimulating fibroblasts for long-term repair and glycosaminoglycan (GAG) production to improve water retention. Our tester described the process as "intense but rewarding", admitting she needed to pause a few times during the injections but was glad she powered through.
The final step is the yellow laser, also known as the “Glass Skin Laser.” It targets both pigmentation and redness, absorbing into melanin and blood vessels to break down spots and even out the complexion. This step aims to brighten the skin and reduce redness, making it a welcome reprieve after the more invasive earlier stages.
The Post-Treatment Glow
Immediately after the session, the skin may look red with tiny injection marks, reminiscent of "mosquito bites." However, by the next morning, much of the redness subsides, and within two days, the skin looks calmer and more even. Mild bruising in some areas can occur, but it usually fades within a few days.
The real transformation becomes visible after a month—many clients report brighter, more supple skin with refined pores. Our tester shared, "My complexion felt smoother, less oily, and the dullness from my teenage acne scars had lifted."
The Mizu Signature Radiance Revival offers a comprehensive solution for anyone looking to improve skin texture, tone, and hydration all at once. With minimal downtime and visible long-term benefits, it’s no surprise this treatment has won over both beauty insiders and first-timers alike. For anyone serious about glowing skin that lasts, this award-winning treatment is just one appointment away.
