Five-member boy band TNX are a rising force in K-pop. Comprised of members TAE HUN, HYUN SOO,JUN HYEOK, HWI and SUNG JUN, the group was formed through the 2021 survival reality show LOUD, a collaboration between K-pop greats PSY and J.Y. Park to create two boy bands; one under each of their labels. Beating out dozens of competitors from all over the world, TNX made their debut in 2022 with their first EP Way Up.
The quintet have long pursued an energetic pop-punk-infused sound, putting them ahead of the curve of their peers as their fellow fifth-generation K-pop acts now try their hand at trendy rock-inspired tracks. Their new digital single "Call Me Back" is no different. Led by anthemic vocals and a crashing guitar instrumental, the song—written by member HWI—is a long-awaited continuation of their March 2025 single "For Real?".
In this interview with ELLE Singapore, TNX recall behind-the-scenes anecdotes from the "Call Me Back" music video, how their bond has changed over the years, and share their hopes for 2026.
