Popstar Olivia Rodrigo and her boyfriend, the actor Louis Partridge, are the latest couple that are rumoured to be engaged, following fellow celebrity pairings Zendaya and Tom Holland, and Dua Lipa and Callum Turner.
On August 10, the pair were spotted on a leisurely walk, hand in hand, down a quiet street in Los Angeles – but what instantly grabbed the world's attention was the large diamond ring seen on Rodrigo's engagement finger, as per The Daily Mail.

While the couple have always preferred to remain private, and nothing has yet been confirmed, many fans believe that the dazzling ring is a sure sign that the pair have taken their relationship to the next level.
Rodrigo and Partridge were first seen together in London in October 2023, and since then, they've been photographed together at a number of events – such as the 67th Annual Grammy Awards, the 2025 Vanity Fair Oscars after-party and, most recently, at this year's Wimbledon.

While news of the couple's alleged engagement may come as a surprise to some, keen-eyed fans of the singer will know that her 2024 album GUTS (spilled) revealed potential plans way back in March of the same year. The song "so american" sees Rodrigo sing the following: "And he says I'm so American / Oh God, I'm gonna marry him / If he keeps this sh*t up".
During her set at this year's Glastonbury festival, the singer gushed about her boyfriend and how he inspired the song. She told the crowd: "One thing you should know about me is [I] f***ing love England, I love England so much...As luck would have it, I also really love English boys, I wrote this next song about getting to know a boy from England who loves beans on a jacket potato. I took all our little jokes and made a song called, 'so american'."
While their engagement has not yet been officially confirmed, we'll be watching closely to see if either Rodrigo or Partridge make any announcement.
