In a world where on-screen chemistry often fades once the camera cuts, Mos Panuwat Sopradit and Bank Mondop Heamtan bring something real and enduring: A deep bond forged by friendship, passion for their craft, and kindness. Rising from promising newcomer statuses to become one of the most buzzed-about actors in Thailand’s boys’ love (BL) genre of film and television—from their debut in Big Dragon (2022) to their subsequent team-up in Sunset x Vibes (2024)—Mos and Bank aren’t just acting alongside each other; they’re growing together, side by side, and it’s a transformation their fans are loving every step of the way.

We caught up with the good looking duo during their fan meeting in Singapore this May, and chatted about their journeys, growing popularity, personal style, roles, and much more.

What’s something fans might be surprised to learn about you?

MOS: I’m actually quite a scaredy-cat, but fans have always misunderstood and thought I was brave and strong.

BANK: I’m the child of a fruit farm owner.

What first drew you to acting, and what keeps you passionate about it today?

MOS: My first foray into the entertainment industry, and my passion during the first three years of doing this professionally, were all because of Bank. I was young, and gave my career much thought. Bank was different. Becoming an actor meant everything to him, and I wanted to support him and help him go as far as possible. You could say I was, and still am, his biggest supporter. Now that Bank has reached his goals, I’ve started doing this more for myself and my family.

BANK: Acting has been my dream since I was a child. Being an actor means getting to take on different roles—it would be such a waste to live life playing just one part.

MOS: I’d love to do a film that demands deep emotions—like The Joker. That said, I’d be up for any role. I think it would definitely help me grow and become a better actor. Everything that’s happened in my life has felt so big and beyond anything I ever imagined. I was scared and pressured at first, but the more I did it, the more I realised that I was born to take on new and challenging things.

BANK: I’d like to play Mos’s roles. My characters are usually sweet and cute, but I’d like to be cool and a bit of a bad boy for a change. Plus, I’ve always wanted to play a character with superpowers or ancient Chinese martial arts abilities. I love those kinds of stories and grew up with them. It’s something I really want to do, and it feels like it fits me perfectly.

How do you usually prepare for a new role?

MOS: First, I need to know exactly who the character is—their personality, mindset, everything. I dive deep into the script and do intense homework. Acting is all about understanding and truly becoming the character. I spend a lot of time in workshops for both the script and acting techniques.

BANK: I believe everyone is capable of many things. When I get a role, I study the character and try to think and understand things from their perspective. My favourite method is imagining their life from birth up to the present. It really helps, even though it takes a lot of time.

How do you decompress after filming an emotional scene?

MOS: Just talking, taking a walk, and going about my usual daily routine—that’s enough to help me reset.

BANK: I eat sweets. It really helps.

What’s your most memorable moment from set?

MOS:  It would be back when I was still new to acting. I wasn’t good at a lot of things yet, but the crew and everyone around me were supportive and helped me without ever scolding or criticising me. That made me love acting and want to keep improving.

BANK: The behind-the-scenes moments are so much fun. I get excited every day I go on set. I was given a role that expresses the beauty of love, and everyone on set was happy to be part of the project. We smiled at each other and treated each other with kindness—that really left an impression on me.

MOS: Bank.

How do you handle fame and social media attention while staying grounded?

MOS: I’ve always been an optimistic person by nature, so I don’t focus on the negativity. I only focus on happiness and the good things. When you only pay attention to the good, the bad things tend to disappear on their own.

BANK: I feel incredibly lucky to have fans from all over the world. I use social media as a way to express my love and care because not everyone gets the chance to meet in person. That’s why I update my stories on various platforms to show just how much I miss them.
