
When Uniqlo comes to mind, itโs often thought of as a brand defined by reliability, comfort, and pared-back minimalism. Yet, beyond its cult-favourite HEATTECH long sleeves, AIRism tanks, and the latest PUFFTECH jackets lies a sharper, more playful edgeโone revealed through its roster of unexpected collaborations. Cultural heavyweights like KAWS, Jonathan Anderson, and Takashi Murakami have each lent their creative vision to the Japanese retailer over the years. Now, stepping confidently into the spotlight as Uniqloโs latest collaborator is K-pop girl group and our November 2024 digital cover star BABYMONSTER.

Dropping February 2, this will be BABYMONSTER's first collaboration with Uniqlo's T-shirt line, UT. Inspired by the punchy lyrics and hip-hop swagger of the group's pre-debut single, "Batter Up," BABYMONSTER UT is a collection of six women's graphic T-shirts.

Visually, the shirts sport an all-American, baseball aesthetic for which Uniqlo specially developed a new wide, boxy silhouette in both crewneck and V-neck options. Available in colours like pink, navy blue and heather grey, designs feature varsity lettering stitched across the front, reading โBaemonโ and โHello Babymonster.โ At times, BABYMONSTER UT functions as part-Uniqlo collaboration, part-merch. The groupโs official icon is incorporated into letters, and the logo can be seen under a baseball scoreboard graphic plastered on the back of a t-shirt. There's even a simplistic "0401" print that references BABYMONSTER's debut date, April 1.

If the clothing hasn't already hit it out of the park, Uniqlo will be rolling out a series of exclusive visuals that peep into the BABYMONSTER UT world. Look out for behind-the-scenes footage and message videos from members, coming your way soon.
Priced at $19.90 each, the collection will be available across all Uniqlo stores in Singapore and online. In celebration of the launch, fans can look forward to a full BABYMONSTER photo card set that comes with each purchase, available while stocks last.
