In ancient Greek mythology, bees were considered divine messengers and often depicted with Aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty. They are also revered in many other cultures, as symbols of good luck, prosperity, teamwork and wisdom.

Moving from ornate royal bijoux to sleek modern pieces, Chaumet shines a new light on the bee and bee hive with 12 new diamond and gold creations in its Bee de Chaumet collection, formerly known as Bee My Love. Its Bee de Chaumet Pompon range introduces long, swaying tassels as a dynamic counterpart to the maison’s iconic hexagonal honeycomb motif.

Bee-adorned flexi-cuffs and graphic honeycomb bangles come in a range of materials and thicknesses. There’s also a new white gold parure (consisting of a necklace, bangle, earrings and ring) whose mirrored surfaces are accompanied by the glitter of diamond pavé.

Also joining the ranks is a pair of high-jewellery drop earrings to accompany the bib necklace and cuff that were released late last year: Crafted from rose and white gold, the supple honeycomb earrings bear graduated, brilliant-cut diamonds that start in a closed setting, before ending in a prong setting that appears to suspend them in air.

With its play on proportions and textures that breathe new life into one of the maison’s key collections, the Bee de Chaumet range is a perfect fit for stylish queen bees everywhere.
