ELLE Singapore's June 2025 cover star Shye is on a roll as she unveils her new single, "All At Once". Further delving into the journey teased by her previous release, "Waited For You", the singer-songwriter and producer's latest track captures bittersweet longing and acceptance following heartbreak.

"The inspiration came from that strange emotional space where everything still reminds you of someone, even after they're gone. When you're in love, your world is shaped around that person, and once they leave, you're left with the shadows of what used to be," Shye explains in a press release.

The four-minute single shifts away from the heavier soundscapes of her previously released music for a more dreamy, tender palette complete with guitar strings and lyrics that speak from the heart. "The song is about being haunted by the memories of a person who has moved on, while you're still stuck in the echoes of what was," Shye shares. "It's the kind of grief that seeps into everything around you, where you start to see the one you lost in everything and everyone. When you know it's over and you have to move on, but it's easier said than done."

While heartbreak is a journey one has to take on their own, Shye hopes "All At Once" will offer listeners solace through the shared pain. "With this track, I hope to give a voice to the quiet, complicated kind of heartbreak that often goes unspoken. The feeling of being stuck in the aftermath while the world keeps moving. I want listeners who are going through something similar to feel seen and less alone in their experience."
