Celine unveiled its newly-revamped store at Taipei 101 Mall with brand ambassador Danielle of NewJeans fame and Park Bogum in attendance. Spread across 390 square-metres, the single-level store seamlessly integrates the architectural design concept dreamed up by Hedi Slimane, image director of Celine.

Conceptualised as a timeless and sophisticated space, the space features natural materials like grey travertine and grande antique marbles juxtaposed with oak, brass and antique materials. Elsewhere, warmer materials like oak, brass and antique gold mirrors add a touch of contrast. In short: The newly-minted store is the picture of elegance.

The new store houses women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, leather goods and accessories, haute parfumerie and jewellery—all showcased in glass and steel wall cases.
In Slimane’s world, and by extension this store, luxury does not only include products; it also includes the floor, wall and other peripherals. For instance, large slabs of Italian basaltina stones make up the floors while the walls are varnished with marble, black lacquer, mirrors and chromed metal.
There’s also a private salon, where guests can shop in comfort. It features bespoke furniture designed by Slimane. The store is also home to contemporary art pieces—paintings by Jacob Kassay and Wolfgang Voegele as well as artworks by Indrikis Gelzis, Kim Dacres, Lukas Geronimas, Michele Mathison and Shigeo Toya—keeping in line the existing Celine Art Project.
