Sophie Turner has had quite the busy week in New York. She kicked it off—in full camp—last Monday with her husband, Joe Jonas, on the red carpet at the Met Gala. On Friday, she was out on the town for a double-date with Jonas, his brother Nick, and Nick’s wife, Priyanka Chopra. But—presumably before that double-date—she was filming at The Tonight Show, where she discussed her theory about the infamous Starbucks cup that showed up on last week’s episode of Game of Thrones.
In a fake-fan video for The Tonight Show, Joe Jonas asked Turner: “I watch a lot of Game of Thrones, and I was wondering: you’re definitely responsible for that coffee cup, right?”
Fallon followed up with a photo of Turner on set holding a coffee cup. He said he considered this to be photographic evidence that Turner was the one at fault for the coffee cup that accidentally made it into a shot of the episode last week.

The photo in question shows Turner standing with a co-star while holding a coffee cup. But, she explained to Fallon, the girl in the photo dies in one of the episodes before the coffee cup showed up last week.
“Alright, Detective Pikachu,” she told him. “This girl dies … in one of the episodes! And this is a scene from the episode after she dies!” Turner said of the coffee cup scene. “So why am I holding this coffee cup that’s in a different scene?”
As far as her theory about the cup, Turner pointed her finger at someone else. “Look who it’s placed in front of?,” she said, calling out her co-star Emilia Clarke. She’s the culprit.”
