For the first time, HBO’s high-society fever dream ventured beyond America, making a full-blown international debut, and Bangkok rose to the occasion. After all, as any devoted White Lotus guest would say, “This place is crazy. It’s like Disneyland, but everything’s real.”

The spectacle kicked off at Iconsiam, the waterfront shopping haven where stars arrived with the theatrical flair of a trust fund kid turning up their nose at economy class. The cast—Lisa of BLACKPINK (making her acting debut as Mook), Natasha Rothwell, Jason Isaacs, Dom Hetrakul, Lek Patravadi, Parker Posey, Sarah Catherine Hook, Sam Nivola, Mike White, Patrick Schwarzenegger, and Tayme Thapthimthong—along with special guests such as Bright Vachirawit Chivaaree, Natapohn Tameeruks, Ann Thongprasom, Ananda Everingham, Vanesha Prescilla, Solenn Heussaff, Kylie Versoza, and Maine Mendoza—were greeted by a wall of ecstatic fans.
Lisa made an entrance as iconic as any White Lotus meltdown, arriving on a literal cruise ship (because who needs subtlety, right?) in a custom Louis Vuitton lotus-pink gown. From the star-studded green carpet moment to a series of after-parties at the Four Seasons (a venue almost too perfect, given the franchise’s penchant for beautiful vacations gone terribly, terribly wrong), the night was a decadent whirlwind. And if anyone left without a scandal, a lawsuit, or a minor existential crisis? Well, they clearly weren’t embracing the full White Lotus experience.
