What are you most looking forward to accomplishing this year, and what are some things you're hoping would line up for you?

I’m excited to continue building and growing PHLUR, focusing on creating scents that tell stories and evoke deep emotions. It’s a blessing to connect with people through fragrance—moving them, inspiring them, and bringing them together through shared experiences. This year, I hope to continue fostering vulnerability and authenticity while also expanding PHLUR globally. The journey is just beginning!

The biggest shift I’m seeing in trends and consumer behavior is that people are looking for brands that truly resonate with them—ones they can make their own. Today’s consumers are smarter than ever; they don’t just buy products, they buy into a brand’s ethos. They want authenticity, transparency, and a brand that aligns with their values. More than ever, people appreciate craftsmanship, heritage, and quality—things that stand the test of time.

You joined Phlur in 2021, and have since become co-owner and creative director. What has this experience been like for you, and why was this important to you?

Becoming the co-owner and creative director of PHLUR has been an incredible journey—one that allows me to be part of people’s beauty rituals in such a personal way. Scent is deeply tied to memory; it’s an extension of who we are. Creating fragrances with the most talented perfumers, inspired by personal stories of heartbreak, love, loss, and hope, has been a true gift. There’s nothing more rewarding than knowing our scents resonate emotionally and become part of someone’s story.

You're taking us with you to the Chanel FW25 show in Paris. What do you love most about Chanel, and what are you hoping to see from the brand in the near future?

Yes! The Chanel show is always a treat to attend. I loved the collection because it stayed true to their heritage—classic and sophisticated—with a playful and whimsical edge. The collection was inspired by bows, which are symbolic of the house, and it was fascinating to see how they incorporated them into so many different looks. One specific black dress, covered in bows and featured as the finale, was absolutely stunning—elegant yet whimsical and magical. I’m also really excited to see how Chanel evolves under their new creative director, Mathieu Blazy, who I’m a big fan of. Looking forward to this exciting new era for Chanel!

Lastly, what are your must-haves for surviving fashion week, and what are your must-do's while in Paris?

My must-haves during Fashion Week are definitely my PHLUR fragrance travel sizes—they’re so convenient to throw into my purse. I also can’t live without my medicine device, which I take everywhere to keep my skin glowing. And I absolutely need my Korean food in Paris, especially since I often get homesick when I’m away for so long! There’s a fantastic Korean restaurant called Mee Bistro that I love.

Another must-visit spot in Paris is the Le Meurice Hotel. They have the most incredible breakfast room that everyone needs to try! Even if you’re not staying there, it’s worth a visit because it’s just beautiful!
